i had a good day today, slept well last night and had an even day today, not too busy but not slow, no real problems, day ran really smooth....i had intended to broil a veal chop for dinner, and had taken it out of the freeze last night and put it in the frig....but had forgotten to take it out of the frig this morning....Normally I'll put it in the microwave.....Not to use the microwave but just to keep it away from the cats....Anyways it wasn't completely thawed so i just made a big salad and had the last of the danish blue and some grapes for dessert......i'm really not much of a sweet tooth and rarely have cookies or pastries or the like around the house......dessert is usually fruit and cheese......
rehearsal went pretty good tonight, except for the fact that my voice was just a bit scratchy....but was as usually alot of fun......music is very important to me......always has been always will be.....you cannot properly "define" me if you do not consider music......
came home and was watching the big break III.....i had bought a slice of smoked gouda, and a wedge of danish fontina cheese this week.....i love smoked gouda but had never had the fontina....but it was marked down so i thought lets give it a try......well it's a nice mild cheese.....and i had smokey on my lap......of the 3 cats she's the only one who likes milk....so i thought maybe she'd like a bit of cheese.....well that was an understatement.....i think she ate almost as much as i did, i had to use some control and put i away or between the two of us we would have eaten the entire wedge in one sitting.........
it's strange how what you used to will effect how you feel......and the end of the summer into fall..a day in the mid 40's F will feel quite cold and uncomfortable but to day it was mid 40's and as we are at the end of winter it felt quite warm and comfortable........nice day........

i had a very exhausting day yesterday, by the time i got home from evening service i was all in, went to bed early and got a pretty good nights sleep, and have felt decent today, i'm still pretty tired.....the stress plus the cold weather has got me down, but was a nice warm pre-spring day today and work went okay for a change.......
just relaxing tonight......

a nice quiet day, i did stop in to work briefly but got in and out in an hour......did some shopping.....my wallet finally worn out.......i've had it for.....well long enough that i can't remember how long.....had some fresh polish sausage sandwiches for lunch.....very good......a really good local brand and beef tips, onions, mushrooms and a few steak fries for supper.......a bit of smoked gouda for dessert.......i love cheese......now the classic american cheese singles i won't eat if my life depended on it.....i mean i love good cheese........blues are probably my favorite but i like almost any good cheese......

it's late and i should have long since gone to bed, i really should spend a few hours at work tomorrow, but could skip it if i didn't want to, and can go in at my leisure, but i'm still keyed up from the day........i've been listening to the faure requiem........which has to rank in the top 3 or 4 of my favorite sacred choral works......i've had the good fortune to be in a performance of it on two different occasions.......a beautiful piece to listen to, and even more beautiful from the inside...that is as part of the performance.......there is nothing like being part of the music being made.......and that doesn't apply only to the classics......i also sing in a group that does contemporary christian music and the same thing applies.........

i had one load today, but should have been an easy day, load was due between, 11 and 1, then 3:30 and 4......at 4:45 i get a call from the broker that the guy is lost and can't find it........where is he i asked.......knew the place....good........tell him to stay put and i'll come out and bring him in........sheesssshhhhh!!!!!!!!.......never did get out of there until 7:30......had planned to make a production out of supper.......sirloin tips with all the fixin' but was so tired, hungry and frustrated by the time i got home that i ended up opening a can of sausage gravy and had it over english muffins..........then turn the ncaa's on and the 'cuse is playing terrible.......i can't watch.......just a lovely day..........

an easy morning at work but all sorts of fun this afternoon, was on a dead run from after lunch to end of day........had a rush truck order that had to leave today and never found out about it until 2:35........normal by that time all the truck shipments are gone........
did some errands tonight and got take out.......just hanging out tonight

it was a good day....i slept to the alarm this morning....best night's sleep i've had in days.....and had a light day at work.....and was able to take the afternoon off and get the oil changed in the car.....while that was happening i walk to mickey d's and got lunch......i'm not a big fan of mickey d's but it's close to the place i get my oil change......in fact i basically only eat at mickey d's every 3 months or 3000 miles (hehe)......
since i had the time this afternoon i made a pot of bean soup for supper, that and i bit of crusty boule and a bit of " egg and olive" okay i admit not a meal fit for the ritz but comfort food.....just basic good eats.....
this survivor has been weird, as usually the one person i connected with at all has gotten voted out.....there just is no.....well engaging personalities in this one.....well with the exception on angie that got booted tonight.......i probably will keep watching out of force of habit....but this one is....well......just a little flat.........
i was watching the tube the other day and saw an ad for cat food for indoor cats.....which my 3 furballs are......and thought i'd try some......feed along with the current food i use.......well they all seem to like it very much.....to the exclusion for the most part of the high price "designer" food i've been giving them.....haven't decided yet whether to switch entirely or feed both.........
