Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i have often used the tag line " no good deed every goes unpunished"....and today was a further proof of it's truth, i went in early so i could get a load out by 8 AM so the driver could make the 4 PM gate closing at the pier (about a 6 hour trip)....so we get a call that he had a blowout on the way and missed the closing and to make matters worst told his company that he had the blowout because he was overloaded and i had put 50000 Lbs. on the container.....about 45000+/- would be max..........fortunately i have a load sheet that shows the weight of the shipment by scale weight at 40097 lbs. but that not really the point, i get up early, bust my rump to get the load out on time and we miss the gate anyways....rats......
