it was possible that we were going to get heavy lake effect snow today but it seems to have missed us and gone further south in the lake effect zone, not that i complaining, not a bad work day......stopped and did my banking and filled up the car, not that i use a tank of gas a week. i always fill on pay day, that way i don't forget, and it's best not to run the tank too low in cold weather.........stopped and got some ham hocks which are as we speak simmering in a pot of soup with some lentils and assorted veggies, should be done in another 15 minutes or so.........
