kind of a neat article on firefies...i remember as a kid being totally amazed and one might even say mesmerized by them on a hot summers night....it's only the males that shine...and the only thing they do is show off and mate....that's the upside...of course the downside is that they strave to death after about 2 weeks.....but that just facts...i will never forget the pure enjoyment i had as a kid chasing the glowing little insects all over the yard on a hot summers eve......
