Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

the weather this time of year is really changeable. it was -17*f tuesday, and +50*f today, all the snow is gone, but it is supposed to turn cold tonight and snow again.....
driving home from work tonight was really weird, it was just at sunset, and the sky was completely overcast except for a small sliver right where the sun was setting, and it cast a very eerie reddish glow on everything......
did most of my christmas shopping tonight, which is early for me, i usually wait to christmas eve, but i have to go into work tomorrow, and since i'm loading a truck, and since there is no guarantee that he will show up when he's supposed to, i have no idea how long i'll be there...........fun.......the day before christmas and the only mouse stirring at old CWM is trollie.........
i'm at an impasse, i have no idea what to get dad for christmas, what do you get an 89 year old man that does nothing except watch TV and take naps, not that he doesn't deserve to do just that but it makes buying gifts for him impossible...............

  1. How about a new pair of slippers? Or one of those bean bag neck wrap things that you zap for about 2 minutes in the microwave? those things sure can soothe your stiff joints, especially on a cold day. Just a few Ideas... Merry Christmas Trollie.
