   I'm sitting here just after 17:00..an interesting day..overslept a tad..checked my FB groups & never logged on for my morning session of poker until nearly 05:00..wasn't going too well or too badly..just a so-so session..I had just turned a set of Fives when the game froze or at least what I thought..check the little pie shape indicator..which "said" I was online..anyways when I mention last night about possible power/wifi disruptions because of the weather I should have "knocked wood" harder..apparently the hotel had lost their connection..so decide..will watch some TV & check back later..it was just after 05:00 & didn't what to "pester" the staff..but knew they'd be in the lobby around 06:00 setting up breakfast..turned the TV on..yup..no signal..oy vey..got out my Larson book of panels out & flipped thru that for about a half hour..tried again and both TV & wifi were backup..decided not to bother with playing anymore poker & just got into my sim&solitaire play..was done with all but my play on "Just Solitaire" by just past noon..had a sandwich..took a quick run to Aldi..just needed a few things & on the way back took a quick detour & stopped at the bank to pickup  my "10 day walking around money"..& a chat with the bank manager..nice lady..back to my rooms & was past 16:00 before I'd completed play & started the draft to "Trollie's Game Room"..but my day's activities are all wrapped up save for my daily shower & taking of my meds..my evening meal & last  look-ins on my FB groups..after reading the discussion on the mod/admin message group for "The Farthest Side"..I believe there is a growing consensus towards taking the group "private". .with the recent changes regarding "public" groups on FB..it's just a bad situation..../anyways the end of day is upon me..ergo.."nite all"....[17:26 UTC-4]..../....

   After finishing posting here last night & nothing on "Ye Olde Boob Tube" of any interest to me decided to take the walk to Big Lots & Aldi I had played for today..got a couple of boxes of thin Wasa at Big Lots & just a few items of the /usual fare at Aldi & played a couple more games before taking  my rest..was up a little earlier that /usual & after checking my FB groups was playing poker on "Replay Poker" just before 04:00..took one bad beat when I lost a King high flush to a rivered full-boat..did leave a few chips  on the table..but there again..they're faux chips..of value only in the game...../....decent night's sleep & got right into my online sim&solitaire play..was almost completely done so finished everything but the draft to "Trollie's Game Room"..had gotten some new potatoes at Aldi last night & had them with a piece of haddock..needed to get some orange soda..housekeeping hadn't been yet for their Tuesday visit..so left a note so they'd just let themselves in..just the short walk to Dollar General for a six-pack of 16.9 oz bottles of Sunkist orange & a chat with K..by the time I got back to my rooms housekeeping was about half finished.. watched a bit of an NCIS episode (had watched one at 07:00 whilst consuming 1st meal)..& then started the draft mentioned above..check weather & sat down to write this posting..the weather for tomorrow at least thru mid afternoon ain't fir for man nor beast..ergo..will weather the weather in my rooms & hope what my D called them as a little kid.."Bunder Bunder..Boom Booms" doesn't effect the power or the wifi..[knock wood]..she'd sit in the middle of her bed w/the cats hiding underneath it saying "We're goin' to get sizzled"..well the cats except the grey tabby..who'd sit on a window sill in the enclosed porch & watching the lightning ..but than I always suspected that cat was "brain dead"..dumb as a box of rocks...../....still just a few details..shower & meds & my evening meal & maybe more NCIS..ergo.."nite all"....[16:09 UTC-4]..../....

   I can personally attest to the current weather conditions..had completed the day's game play..had some loose change to roll..did that & decided to take the short walk up the hill to the bank & "trade it in" for cash..although I hardly exerted myself atall I worked up a pretty good sweat & on my return decided that I would  be a good idea to take my daily shower a little earlier than/usual..& did just that & my daily meds as well..at this point I have the bulk of my day's activities completed..../....some times I can be such a dummkopf..I take a walk up to the lobby every other day to get a few items for 1st meal..so as I walked back to my rooms realized that today was the 28th of June & I should have taken my checkbook with me & taken care of next month's rent..dang..put the the items away & grabbed my check book & headed back to correct my error..I was reminded of what my dad used to say "If you ain't got it in your head you'd better have it in your feet..was all but done with everything except starting a draft for "Trollie's Game Room" & play on "Just Solitaire" so ate my mid-day meal just after 12:00..the last of my small red-skin potatoes were getting a tad past prime so decided to have them with a piece of haddock..I watch a bit of the "Tour de France" while eating my mid-day meal..despite the forecast for another hot day tomorrow will probably take a walk to Big Lots & Aldi but do it right after 09:00 to "beat the heat" because the forecast for overnight tomorrow into Wednesday appears to weather "not fit for man or beast"..../....'bout all that remains of the day before I take my rest are my evening meal..a few more look-ins on my FB groups..& maybe a few more games of solitaire..ergo.."nite all"....[16:18 UTC-4]..../....

   I'm posting a little earlier than/usual today but BBC-America is showing "The Hunt for Red October" at 17:00..yeah I know..I've seen it many times & could probably recite most of the dialog verbatim..but I enjoy the flick..I have about everything done that needs to be done save for my daily shower & taking of  the meds..was up just after 03:30 & online soon after & had the majority of my online game play done by just after 09:00..now I had mentioned yesterday that I had no need to venture out before Tuesday..but when preparing my 1st meal discovered I was almost out of dates..which I always include with my 1st meal..so decided as I was way ahead in play..I'd walk over to Aldi about 09:30 & glad I did..as I was shopping I saw a woman I though I knew..but couldn't "place" her..I was in the check out line & she spoke to me & dang..Vicky B..she was the daughter of the family next-door for about 25 years..her dad had past a few years ago at 90 & her mom in her 90s is still alive & kicking & V is also retired..it was fun getting caught up as it were..a very nice family & good neighbors..she used to "sit" for my daughter when she was younger..my D will be 44 this December..now if I hadn't walked this morning..??..sometimes things like that just happen..... /....awhile ago I had bought a nice piece of pre-cooked & breaded haddock..my fav fish..saw it in the freezer & rather than my traditional mid-day sandwich warmed up a piece of it & served it with red skin potatoes cooked in butter w/salt..pepper & parsley..enjoyed it greatly...../....just shower & meds..a few more look-ins on my FB groups & maybe another game or three & then evening meal whilst I watch the movie..ergo.."nite all"....[15:32 UTC-4]..../....

   As I always do about this time of the day I sit here at my Chrome Base contemplating the past day & today it was a very good day in many ways..a quiet..restfully day..except for my evening meal..a couple more look-ins on my FB groups & maybe a few more solitaire games my day's activities are completed..../....Awoke at 03:45..first checks of my FB groups & then my usually hour session of poker on "Replay Poker"..not the best of sessions but not the worst either..made some decent hands..just not enough of them..basically just broke even..but a decent day's play..had every thing done except the games I play on "Just Solitaire" by just past noon & had my tradition sandwich for my mid-day meal w/an orange,,and a few horseradish flavored ripple chips & decided I needed a walk..no even if I just walk the oft-mentioned "loop" I always walk with a destination..in that case a sit-down at the benches at the intersection of Western & Arsenal..but today I decided to extend & go to T J Maxx & whilst browsing thru their gourmet food selection saw something I've never see or had before..pickled Brussels Sprouts..have had them many times in many different styles but never pickled & have always enjoyed pickled vegetables..& after a taste could get very fond of them..next time I'm at T J Maxx will check & if they still have then will get a "backup" or two..../....back to my rooms..finished play game play..a short sit-down 'neath the shade of ye olde oak tree & then showered..took my meds & checked the weather..T-storms predicted for most of Monday..first glance..can wait until Tuesday before I really need anything..so think I might take a "stay-cation" in my rooms the next two days..../....just a few details left before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....

*[17:09 UTC-4]*..It's been an interesting day..I awoke just before 04:00 & got right into my online day..a check-in on my FB groups & off to "Replay Poker"..was down early but had made Aces-full on two consecutive hands & was up a little when I new player sat down & went all-in on every hand..not my idea of poker..so I folded several times & was about to leave when I looked at my pocket cards for the next hand & had a pair of Kings..dang..even if I have to go all-in pre-flop I can't fold pocket Kings..so called..won the pot and left..less than 30 minutes played..1 normally of late play an hour..and was well  into my day after 09:30 ..decided to go up to the bank & get my "10 day walking around money" & had a nice chat with one of the tellers..back to the rooms..decided to finish play so didn't start to prepare lunch until after 13:30..I saw something on the floor..picked it up..a lens from one of my reading glasses..dang..broke another pair..no a rare occurrence for me..got my bottle of instant glue..hard as a rock..checked weather..about an hour before the rain would begin..off to Ollie's..they had a 3 packet of 2.0 for under 5$..perfect ..& back to my rooms & one thing & another never ate 2nd meal until 14:30..started a couple of drafts & then shower & meds taken & decided to watch an episode of "Bones"..was feeling chilly & to the pantry..opened a can of pea-soup & some crackers ..../....My frequent destruction of readers is not something new..I started wearing glasses when I was about 12 years old..& broke some many pairs that my dad threatened to make me sleep at the Optician's shop..& when I was working I went thru quite a few pairs of safety glasses as well..[shrugs]..../....just a couple more things to do before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....

   I'm sitting here as I do everyday around this time trying to make some sense of the day..a little easier today than others as the day ran relatively smoothly..i'm as always as I write these lines all but finished with today's activities..except for a late solitaire or three I'm finished with my online gaming for the day..all drafts started on "Tollie's Game Room" &  freshly showered & meds taken..just the evening meal & a couple of last look-ins on the two FB groups where I'm an admin or mod..../....I decided that I don't oversleep or under-sleep..I get up when my old bod tells me I've had enough..today right around 04:30..& right into my days routine..a little less than an hour on Replay Poker..not a very good session..just wasn't catching..was done with all my morning on line activities by about 10:30..the short walk to Aldi for just the usual fare..& then back to my rooms..started my afternoon's play than & had a later than /usual mid day meal about 13:00..during the prep of my traditional sandwich discovered I was nearly out of black olives & a check of the pantry told me I'd forgotten to get the backup..dang..substituted kalamatas (did I ever mention I hate spell check)...back to my rooms & had the wrapped up by just before 16:00..went to the frig for a bottle of orange soda & was out of  that too..ergo..a quick walk to Dollar General for 3 bottles of Fanta & a can of black olives..as my dad was fond of saying at times like that.."If you don't have it in your head you have to have it in your feet"..my dad was a teenager during the "'Great Depression"(link)..../....there is definitely a meal in my future & probably a few re-runs of "Beat Bobby Flay"..ergo..nite all....[18:16 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:46 UTC-4]*..I'm sitting here freshly showered & meds taken..had everything except this posting,,my evening meal & a couple of look-ins on my FB groups done..checked the weather & entered the weather above & decided as I was running a little late today that I'd shower & medicate before finishing..../....I was pretty tired last night & was in bed before 20:30..the /usual 2 interruptions during the night..rolled over looked at the clock & it was almost 05:00..but got right into my day had a less than stellar session of poker..but caught 2 nice hands at the right time & ended up a head on the day..was done with my morning gaming & posting to "Trollie's Game Room" by about 10:30..decided to take a walk to Big Lots..I needed Wasa bread..so off I went..first thing I saw when I entered the store was they had Fritos (dang spellcheck) bean dip..I haven't been able to find it for over a year..I asked back then & was told that Fritos had shutdown some of their production lines due to CV-19..??..well added it to my basket..I really enjoy it..looked at their spices & danged if the didn't have basil as well..I've been wanting to make my own spice blend & the small bottle they had was the right size & the right price..got my Wasa & 2 bottles of black cherry sparkling water & don't really know why but it took "forever" to get thru the check-out line..got back to the hotel..passed the owner in the hall & asked if I'd check my mail..which I hadn't..a statement & a bill for my safety deposit box rent..so up the hill to the bank..had a nice chat with the manager..some business & some just chat..had a few questions..paid the bill & by the time I got back to my rooms I'd been gone an hour & 45 minutes..so I've been as we would have said back in the day.."behind the eight ball" most of the day..not that I ever played 8-ball that much..but I was a pretty good 9-ball player at one time..../....Just a couple of things yet to do..ergo.."nite all"....[18:11 UTC-4]..../....

   Another day is drawing to a close we did get a little light rain thru just after 14:00..but the skies remain cloudy & it was a bit muggy..a decent nights sleep & awoke just before 04:00 and got the day started..by noon had most if the day's activities done save for the games I always play in the afternoon..had taken a  break for both 1st & 2nd meals & watched part of an NCIS episode both times..also housekeeping was in as well as the maintenance man..the arm on my desk chair was loose & he tightened it for me..actually I knew how to fix it being a ex-machine maintenance man myself..even when I saw him earlier about it I told him to bring a set of hex-keys..did have a set many years ago..don't actually remember what became of them..had my afternoon games done & a draft to "Trollie's Game Room" started by just before 15:00 so decided to take a walk to T J Maxx.. now I have of late had no luck at finding a bottle the spice basil..none of the stores I checked at had any..except Price Chopper & I wasn't going to spend "an arm & a leg" for a very small bottle..I had checked at T J Maxx about a week ago & they didn't have any..but the one thing about an "outlet store"..what they have to day they may not have tomorrow & vis-visa & sure enough there was a decent sized bottle & at a fair price..also found a bottle of roasted garlic powder of which I am quite fond of & a nice chat with one of the "kids" that work there..and then back to my rooms..have already showered & meds taken..& all that remains for the rest of the day is my evening meal were the roasted garlic powder will be used & some look-ins on my FB groups..maybe there's still hope for the one..another mod is also concerned..??..anyways & ergo.."nite all"....[17:16 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:30 UTC-4]*..after starting today's draft for my daily posting I decide to have a sit down out side..but just out the back door ..although there has been rain in the area most of the afternoon & early evening hours I could see no evidence that we got more than a few sprinkles if that..../....awoke just before 03:30 & decided there was no point to roll back over so started my day..first checks of my FB groups & then was playing some poker on "Reply Poker" before 04:00 & for a change was catching some good hands at the right time & ended up with a very successful session & started my day's play of sims&solitaire..did take a break for 1st meal & an NCIS episode but only watched until I was done eating..not an episode I liked very much..just after 09:00 took the short walk to Aldi..just the usual fare & by just before 13:00 had all but the last few details of the day wrapped up..took a break for the traditional sandwich & ripple chips & except for keeping an eye on the FB groups..my evening meal & of course posting here all that needs to be done is done save for getting my trash collected & bagged for tomorrows visit from housekeeping..I usual do that after I've finish my evening meal..../....I'm thinking seriously about resigning my mod duties on one of the FB groups..the admin's are unwilling to change the status of the group from public to private & under the new FB rules for groups that group is as we would have said back in the day "is dying on the vine"..I've tried to convince them that the change is necessary but to no avail & what was once one of the better if not the best of the groups featuring the Larsen cartoons has gone to seed..a shame..but as a mod there is nothing more than I can do..[end rant]..../....just a few things to put in order before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[17:52 UTC-4]..../....

   I'm sitting here with almost all of the days activities completed & it's just after 16:00 but for several reason I'm a little ahead of where I normally am time-wise..the major factor is that the movie "Shooter" is being show on the AMC network starting at 17:00 local time..one of my favs..../....up just after 04:00 took care of a couple of off-line issues and then online first look-ins on my FB groups & then off for a hour of poker on "Reply Poker"..didn't have a very good day..left chips on the table but didn't loss all of the daily free chips..what I refer to as "house money" so finished ahead for the day..but a disappointing session..nothing on the "boob tube" earlier worth my time so ate both first & second meals at ye old Chrome Base whilst playing my sims&solitaires..did take the short walk to Aldi just after 09:00..just the usually fare & a couple of nice chats with the "kids" that work there..other than that have spent a quiet day in my rooms..ergo..I want to take care of taking my daily shower & meds before the movie begins..so I intent to finish this posting late..that's assume that I remember to finish it later....[16:39 UTC-4]..../....

   As/usual I'm sitting at ye olde Chrome Base with most of my day's activities take care of..just my evening meal & a look-in or two on the two FB groups were I'm either a mod or an admin..had ever thing in hand except starting a draft on "Trollie's Game Room" just before 16:00,,now when I check the forecast this morning the rain that had been forecast for early evening today on last night's forecast wasn't there this AM..so didn't bother to look out my windows..grabbed my folding chair had headed out..well Wilbur..not sure I'd call it more than a heavy mist but..back online & started the draft..took my shower & meds..check tomorrows forecast..& sat down to write this post..../....slept pretty decent last night & rolled out of bed just after 04:30 & right into my gam-ing..had a decent session on Replay Poker..left a few chips on the  table but with the daily "house money" ended up ahead..still getting used to the mechanics of the game & the dominant style of play..did "bounce" around between a couple of tables..any-ways was well into the day so about 10:00 took a walk to Price Chopper..fresh garlic..shallots..a jar of prepared horseradish..a package of salmon & 2 packages of seafood snackers..[I'm sorry spell-check but that's what they're called..dang]..& then up to T J Maxx..I had bought a bottle of sweet ginger chili sauce a while back & have enjoyed it greatly..ergo..they still had it (not always the case with an outlet) so bought another bottle..although the temp was just in the upper 60s it was a bit muggy & I worked up a pretty decent sweat on the way back to my rooms..ergo..I cranked up the old AC & have spent the rest of the comfortably..... /.....Just a couple of things yet to deal with before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[18:22 UTC-4]..../....

   I had almost all my days activities completed by just before 16:00 to decided to take a stroll around the oft-mentioned "loop" at a sit-down on the benches at the intersection..a beautiful evening..temp in the upper 70s..a light breeze..a nice walk..back to my rooms..shower & meds taken..weather check..time to describe the day..../....I had gone to bed just after 21:00 & awoke just be-fore mid-night..dang diuretic..but took awhile to get back to sleep..awoke rolled over & i realized it was already light coming from the window..looked at the clock..it was passed 05:30..not my usual 04:00 wake up time..took care of the alerts that had accum-ulated over night on my FB groups..& tried to log-on to "Pokerist" which I have been doing thru FB..no-longer..they've stop doing that..tried to log-on else where..but I had never copied my id#..would have had to start from scratch..tried a few other sites but FB had discontinued them as well..did finally get on Replay Poker..a site I haven't played on for a couple of years..although I have retained my bank..for some reason they'd reset my hands played..[shrugs}..as long as my chips are right no harm no foul....after the messy this morning still had my usual morning activities done by 11:00..& decided to take my new sling back on it's maiden voyage..just a bottle of extra virgin olive oil at Ollie's & a couple bottles of orange soda [they didn't have the Sunkist so got Fanta) & a bag of spearmint hard candies at Dollar General..back to my rooms for the traditional mid--day repast of a sandwich & chips ..../....still have to both prepare & consume my rustic egg-white frittata for evening meal..probably watch some "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network & a couple more look-ins on FB..ergo.."nite all"....[18:39 UTC-4]..../....

   I'm sitting in front of my Chrome Base..I'm freshly showered & my daily meds taken..& feeling pretty good & except for this posting & a couple of odds & ends my tasks for today are completed..../....awoke just after 03:30 & decided that there was no point in rolling back over so got up & started my day & by 09:00 had was well into my day..decided to take a walk to Aldi in search of the elusive & willy banana..I have one with my first meal everyday..not because I'm particularly fond of them..which I'm not..but because they are a good source of potassium & I'm less fond of visits from  ye olde Charley Horse(aka:leg cramps) which I am prone to being an ex-soccer mid-fielder & distance runner..not to mention spending 35 years on a cement factory floor..got the bananas & a few other of the usual items & on the way back made a stop at the bank for my "10 day walking around money" ..temperature was only 72*F at the time..virtually no breeze but was a foggy/misty morning..but when I got back to my rooms discovered that my sling bag which I've had some forty years & bough used at a yard sale had a rip the entire length of one side & was beyond repair..about 15:00 after completing my games for the day..had had a faux crab salad & noon bread for my mid-day meal & checked the internet for possible replacements for my sling back decided to take the short walk down the hill to the "Thrift Store" & whilst rummaging thru the backpacks found a sling bag..different shape..but approximately the same volume & I think would be quite serviceable..at least until I find something better..besides..I paid less than 2 bucks for it..because I walk with a cane because of balance issues from essential tremors..it is very uncomfortable for me to carry anything in my other hand.. hence..a sling back..which when I walk I carry in the small of my back..../...still a meal to prepare & consume..& maybe a sit down "'neath ye olde oak tree"..ergo.."nite all"....[17:41 UTC-4]..../....

   I'm siting here write this post with all of the days online & offline activities completed except for my evening meal & a check-in or two on my FB groups..I'm running a little later today the of late..watched an episode of NCIS while eating both my first & second meals & then there was the weekly visit by housekeeping..which I greatly appreciate..but the real culprit was the fact that as of late I've been able to achieve the "Daily Quests" during my morning session of poker very quickly..but today one of them was my old bugaboo "win with a high card"..played 80 minutes before I completed that one..but was done with most of my days activities by just before 16:00..so decided to take a walk around my oft-mentioned "loop" but as I passed thru the parking lot of plaza just below my rooms I encountered a flock of flying rats(aka:seagulls)..dirty buggers..several years ago on hot/humid evenings my lady & I would take a ride out to a state park on the Black River Bay &  sit on the beach on lawn chairs & enjoy the cool evening breezes off the bay..so one evening while walking back to our car we pasted a guy who was grilling chicken & as we passed by one of the aforementioned flying rats swooped down & took a piece of the chicken off the hot grill..those birds lend a new meaning to the word scavengers..../....I continued my walk & had my /usual sit-down on the benches at the intersection of Western Blvd & Arsenal..found a spot of shade but with  the heat & humidity of the day & little breeze it was a bit too warm for me..so I cut sit-down short & by the time I got back to my rooms as we would have said back in the day I was seating like a pig..[link]..ergo..my daily evening shower was enjoyed greatly....off to prepare my evening repast..ergo.."nite all"....

   As I sit down to entry this posting to night almost all of my online/offline activities are done for the day..got a tad of an early start & had already checked on my FB groups before I logged on for my morning session on "Pokerist"..a hew record..only played for ten minutes & had completed all three of the "Daily Quests" & since the all-inners/all the time were dominating play decided to take my leave..& despite the fact that I took a quick trip to Aldi just after 09:00 had everything else done by before 12:00 save for the games I always play in the afternoon & periodic check backs on my FB groups..../....When I had walked to Aldi the other day had forgotten to even put spinach on my shopping list which I actually did take with me for a change..so because the day was running so smoothly decided to go and get some this morning..an discovered that it was on sale today..just a few other of the typical fare save as I  walked past the cheese/cold cuts I heard a small voice calling my name..a single lonely wedge of smoked Gouda..it was so lonely I had to take pity on it and add it to my purchases..okay..so it's one of my fav cheeses & shredded goes well with the other elements of my evening rustic egg-white frittata..../....even with the walk & a break in the day at 07:00 for 1st meal & an episode of NCIS & my mid-day sandwich & ripple chips I was done with my afternoon session of sims&solitaire by just before 15:00..ergo..an extend sit down neath "ye olde oak tree"..showered & took my meds..and checked weather before sitting down to write this posting..../....Just my evening meal & some Law & Order before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....

   After looking at the current forecast for the next couple of days I am very thankful for AC..at least the humidity for the most part won't be that high..was virtually all done with my online day by just before 15:00 save for starting a draft for "Trollie's Game Room"(now done) ..my posting here(in progress) & a few more look-ins on my FB groups where I'm either a mod or an admin..weekends are always very busy on both groups..just before 12:00 I took a walk to Ollie's..a couple bottles of golden balsamic vinegar..bought a bottle the other day & really like it..ergo..employed my "outlet tactic" if they have it now..buy extras because they may never have it again..& 2 bottles of Sunkist orange zero sugar..a jug of veggie juice & a box of crackers at Dollar General..& back to my rooms..just after 15:00 just a walk around the "loop" & then a stop at Dollar General for a Snickers ice cream bar..../....back in my rooms took care of a few odds & ends offline..showered & took my meds..and sat-down first to start the aforementioned draft..checked weather..and started this posting..../....from the advanced forecast we are in for 80+ temperatures thru Thursday..so I will probably take what walks I need to make in the morning hours..it has always taken me a little time to adjust to the heat of summer being that except for nine semesters of college I've always lived either in the lake effect snow zones off Lake Erie or Lake Ontario so the most common weather elements are cold &/or snow..ergo..takes me a couple of weeks to adjust to hot/humid conditions..& age hasn't made it any easier...../.....a meal to consume..ergo.."nite all"....

   I'm sitting here contemplating the end of another day..virtually all tasks finished save for an evening meal & a couple of look-ins on the FB groups "The Farthest Side"(I'm a mod) & "May the Far Side be with you"(an admin)..and as/is/usual there ain't squat on the old "boob-tube" tonight worth my time..so will be wandering around the net & maybe a sim or solitaire will be played..../ ....Never rolled out of bed to nearly 04:30 after a decent nights sleep & was a busy morning on FB so never logged on to my morning session on "Pokerist" but got everything accomplished in 17 minutes so no drag on the rest of the day,,I had mentioned yesterday because of the forecast today for winds over 20 mph I'd probably stay in my rooms all day..but around 09:00 after taking look out my wind didn't see any evidence of winds of the magnitude..ergo..off to first Big Lots..just a can of anchovy stuffed Spanish olives & a box of Wasa bread..during the walk the wind was maybe just over 10 mph & an occasional gust to maybe 15 mph..then the thought struck me..dummkopf..the weather station is 10+ miles away at the airport & maybe a mile or two from the  Black River Bay & Lake Ontario beyond..anyways..just the usual fare at Aldi..save for a bottle of garlic aioli..had some on my traditional mid-day sandwich & side of ripple chips & a Sunkist orange..had every thing well-in-had by 16:00 so dragged the folding chair out under "ye olde oak tree"..no shade today under overcast skies..../....so off to prepare my evening repast & then a little surfing of the net,,hence & therefore.."nite all"....[18:22 UTC-4]..../....

*]18:50 UTC-4]*..have eaten my evening..a spinach/potato rustic egg-white frittata w/Wasa bread on the side & am freshly showered and meds take..watch a little "Bones" whilst consuming my frittata..and except for a few odds & ends my online day is done..well once I finish this posting of course..../....was a slug-a-bed is morning and didn't roll-out until 04:30..just a short by successful session on "Pokerist: which could of been shorter..I have a pet peeve..that's being left alone at a poker table & today I completed my last "Quest" was about to leave & found myself "heads up"..now if I hate being left alone then..ergo..I won't leave another in that state..so stayed & played several "heads up" hands until another player arrived & then left..2nd meal eaten around 12:30 was the traditional sandwich w/a faux crab cocktail with my room-made cocktail sauce..I was all done with today's sim&soli-taire play by just before 14:00..so took a walk around the oft-mentioned "loop" & a short sit-down on the benches st the inter-section of Western & Arsenal & when I got back to the hotel..went to my rooms..got my folding chair & had an extended sit-down under "ye olde oak tree"..../....I had originally intended to walk to Aldi & maybe Big Lots tomorrow..well..that is until I checked the forecast for tomorrow & saw that the predicted wind speed was 15>25 mph..I have balance issues because of the essential tremors I have & anything of a wind speed of 15 mph is dicey for me..awhile back I got caught by a gust & except for my cane might have face-planted whilst crossing Arsenal St..not a happy thing to contemplate..will check throughout the day but probably won't chance it..Sunday's forecast looks a little better..../....will probably just "kick around" the net until I take my rest..ergo..

   Actually there was a post last night..well Wilbur..or rather there was almost post last night I was doing some editing & in a tremor induced klutz move manage to delete the whole dang thing..I sat there a moment..it was late..I was tired & my essential tremor condition was bothering me more than /usual &7 add to that the thought of recreating the entire thing wasn't pleasant.. ergo..didn't..besides if I miss a day it's not like it will cause the beginning of the zombie apocalypse..../....It didn't rain anywhere near as hard or a long as predicted so by just after 12:00 decided to take a quick walk down to Dollar General..got a packet of tuna..2 bottles of Sunkist Orange & 1 of Sunkist Orange Zero Sugar..decided I try a bottle & if there was no real difference in taste would probably make the switch..had taken break around 07:00 for first meal & an NCIS episode & then after my walk a little SVU w/my tradition sandwich mid-day me..& ripple chips made their return(tuna salad finished..about 15:00 took a break & another walk this time to Speedway convenience store for a tube of chew../....finished up play on sims&solitaire & set up tomor-row's game sheets..check TV & weather & decided to take my shower & meds & than sat down to write this post.../....Just a my evening meal to consume & maybe some "Bear Bobby Flay" before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[18:46 UTC-4]..../....

   I'm sitting here at the end of a very interesting day..about 17:00 had most of today's online tasks completed & retired to the back lawns for a sit-down in the shade of "ye olde oak tree"..then showered & took my meds..set up tomorrows play-sheets.. check tomorrows TV listings (& as/usual found very little worth my time) & tomorrow's weather..considering the advanced forecast for Thursday I'll probably do an inventory of my pantry & frig tonight or tomorrow to see if I need anything before Friday..../.... started my day just after 04:00..checked in on my FB groups &  of to play some poker on "Pokerist"..now I hadn't played an extended session in quite awhile so decided to play at least an hour..and by the time I got done with the.."oh I'll just play a couple more hands" had played just over 3 hours & 231 hands..left a few chips on the table but had completed all three of the "Daily Quests" & left the session ahead on the day..../...just after 09:00 took the walk across the street to Aldi..just the usual fare except for a package of smoked salmon with bagel seasoning..haven't dug into it yet but it will find it's way into a mid-day sandwich or maybe on my first meal plate very soon..housekeeping was in today their regular Tuesday visit..my rooms have been cleaned.. vacuumed..& fresh linens delivered..I'm no longer able to do the cleaning job & quite frankly wouldn't want to do it if I could..one of the perks of living in a hotel is I don't have to..payed my rent for June last week..../....still an evening meal to be consumed.. Animal  Planet is showing "Treehouse Master's" re-runs this evening..a show I've always enjoyed & another look-in on my FB groups as well..ergo..night all....[18:38 UTC-4]..../....
