   If I recall correctly March was supposed to come-in like a lion..not August..oy vey..looks like another day to batten down the hatches(link) & stay in my "fortress of solitude"....I've been a very bad boy..I have in my rooms three small frigs & I had waited for far too long to defrost two of them..so have been spending time this afternoon attending to that less than desirable task & will continue for the foreseeable future..or at least an hour or so more..bad Trollie..no biscuit..../....decent night's sleep..light load of alerts & member request on the FB groups this morning & logged to play my morning session of poker..a typical weekend round played 68 hands..folded most of them..just wild loose play..only won 4 hands..2 were small pots..one a decent size & one was very nice..and left with more chips than I had brung with me..about 09:30 decided to walk..needed to stop at Speedway conven-ience store..a tube of chew..went to T J Maxx..a jar of basil pesto & a bottle of greek pepperoncini & a nice chat with "H" one of the clerks..off to Speedway..as I walk up the clerk already had what I wanted on the counter..I said well after 4 or 5 years you should remember..she replied "try 9 years"..yup..they re-did the place a few years back & she's the last employee from the old store still there..as soon as she said that I remembered..dang..on to Dollar general..needed apple pocket pies..generic veggie juice & a Gatorade Zero..yup..they've already got Halloween Candy but were out of all three of what I wanted..kidded the clerk that it was a deliberate move on their part to get me to stop shopping there..../.....I'm running a little behind schedule today but have spent sometime just listening to YT & thinking about old friends I've lost touch with over the years & wondering for they're doing..../....still a thing or three to do before I take my night's rest..ergo.."nite all"....[17:41 UTC-4]..../....

   I had mentioned last night that I would probably go to the bank today but wait to Saturday to go to Aldi..but after perusing my pantry & frig this morning whilst assembling 1st meal decided that except for bananas today would be better provided I could find some green bananas so just before 09:00 off I went & in retrospect they didn't have any bananas green enough (so with the rains predicted for Sunday will probably head back that way & get a couple & maybe stop at Big Lots as well}..because when I got to packing up my purchase I had a difficult time getting everything I had bought into my sling bag.. back when I was running a shipping/receiving department in a small factory the guys who worked for me used to say if I couldn't pack it..it couldn't be packed..(I rate very high in the cognitive skill spacial relationships)..I got everything in..well..there was corner of a box of cherry grain bars peeking over the top..but I didn't want to use the cloth bag I have with me..because the short cut to the bank is steep & if I carry something in my left hand it throws off my balance..(sling carried in the "small:of my back..anyways a word from my rural past came to mind "I had made a blivet"..didn't know if it was a "real" word..so off to Google: Blivet[link] anything overfilled ..origin unknown but probably coined by American GIs in WWII..ah..all for of my uncles & my dad served during WWII..but not how we defined it..ergo checked an Urban dictionary[link} close but not quite..when I was a kid "in the sticks" we defined it as "10 lbs. of manure in a 5 lb. bag"..I've mention my adventures crossing Arsenal St before..or is it rather my miss-adventures..today ..light comes on..SUV with the left turn signal on..I waited..he waited..I took off..tipped my hat..he waved & waited until I was clear..my first thought was "dang..somebody other than me has actually read the NYS traffic regs..got my "ten day walking around money" & back to my rooms..the rest of the day has processed pretty much like most of my days..../....just a few more tasks before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[17:07 UTC-4]..../....

   It's been another interesting day here in my "fortress of solitude" which I have only left briefly to take a look out the backdoor..it has been raining on&off most of the day but no where near the predicted amounts..only very small puddles in the parking lot & I never saw nor did I hear any evidence of close thunder or lightning flashes..but I live in a cement block building so they would have to be very close by..according to the latest local radar the storm should be past us here by 18:00 & it is my intent to take a stroll..maybe around the oft mentioned "loop"..had a bit of an issue last night with foot cramps right after retiring to bed but slept pretty good thereafter..awoke at 03:20..rolled back over but about 03:30 gave up any further attempts at sleep & started my day..a little work-load on my FB groups & was playing "Replay Poker" by 03:50 & a successful i hour session..got right into my sim&solitaire play & by just after 13:00 had my day's play completed..one draft published & another started..just a light mid-day meal of a cheese sandwich..ripple chips & an orange soda..& since a walk outside was out of the question played 10 more games of solitaire on "World of Solitaire" & edited tomorrows draft.../....weather tomorrow turns cooler & besides my online activities the only thing I have penciled in is a quick trip up the hill to the bank to get my "10 day walking around money"..probably will wait to Saturday to take the walk to Aldi & Big Lots but if time permits I might do that tomorrow as well..../....other than a few more check-ins on my FB groups the only things than remain to be done are my evening meal & my daily shower & taking of my meds..ergo.."nite all"....[16:30 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:38 UTC-4]*..been a fairly quiet day save for the fact that it was a busy one on the FB groups I'm either a mod or admin on..a bunch of "mod alerts".."member reported content"..a one member ran afoul of "community standards"..dang..anyways..overslept a tad & with the the work-load on the groups it was 04:40 before I logged on for my morning session of poker on "Replay Poker" ..another pot-pusher..but caught some nice hands at the right times & left after an hour with more chips than I hand brung with me..just a quick trip to the lobby to grab a few things for first meal..& into my sims&solitaires..would have everything done & buttoned up by 15:00 except the word processing program on blogger was a little glitchy early..seems to be okay right now..got the weather posted to the draft & save for the aforementioned trip to the lobby had been in my rooms all day & after a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow decided I take a walk on the oft mentioned "loop" & when I got to the intersect decided to go up to T J Maxx & see what new food delights they might have acquired..got a small bottle of some very nice oregano..I eat a very simple diet but I love me some spice..despite the relatively low temperature & humidity worked up a decent sweat on my travels & took a cooling shower & took my meds & it was my intention to start my posting here than..but took a look-in on my FB groups first & that took more time than I had figured..../....have been "spot watching" some of the TV coverage from Tokyo..have caught a few of both the men's & women's volleyball matches..was always one of my favorite sports to play despite I never got past 5'8"..but than I was as we called it back in the day a "setter/digger" & I have the bad knees to prove it..can't play anymore but still enjoy watching the game..../....a meal & a couple more check-ins on FB groups are all that remains of my day..ergo.."nite all"....

*[18:03 UTC-4]*..i'm sitting here as I most days do when day's end is approaching..I'm showered..hair freshly laundered..it maybe getting thin on top but it's still long & there is the full beard..combed not pressed & meds taken..after entering the weather the rains had pasted but occasional rain was still a possibility so I donned my rain/windbreaker jacket & made stops at Ollie's & Dollar General..just a few random food & snack items & a chat with a clerk at Ollie's I haven't seen for awhile & then back to my rooms & the above mentioned daily routine..still have an evening meal & some look-ins on my FB groups to attend to before I take may rest..../....a decent night's sleep but I over slept at tad & after taking care of the accumulation of member request & mod alerts was near 05:00 before I logged on to play on "Replay Poker"..just couldn't make many hands..but since I'm playing with "house money" & not "rent money finish the session ahead of when I began it..was well into my online game play & took a break just before 09:00 & walked to Aldi..apparently one of their stores to the north is closed for renovations & they've received some of the stock from there & a couple of that stores employees have move down here ..more "kids" than you could shake a stick (or my cane) at..several good chats were had..just the usual fare except a got a tube of lemon grass spice in a paste form..interesting flavor & I've thought about several dishes I could use it in..thankful..no incidents crossing Arsenal St today..[knock wood]..didn't get very thing done until near 16:00 but was interrupted by the weekly visit from housekeeping..which I greatly appreciate..they do a competent job..I don't have to do it....still things to deal with..ergo.."nite all"....[18:29 UTC-4]..../....

   Well Wilbur..it been an interesting day..was up about the /usual time..had to deal with some "mod alerts" that had built up overnight on the FB group where I'm an admin..sat down to play a session of Poker..was "hot" early & had accumulated some chips..but hit a flat stretch had give most of them back..was on the button..once more to the button & I'll leave..got to the "button"..still up..ah once more to the "button"..yup..gave back what I'd won & a few I'd  brung with me..[[note to self]]..[shrugs] ..by just after 12:30 had everything done save for my play on "Just Solitaire" & starting tomorrow's draft to my game blog..now Aldi has been out of the fruit flavored sparkling water I like..Big Lots has a different brand..a bit more expensive but decided to walkover there..got 3 bottles..a container of rosemary & a bottle of blackberry jam (I've been eating a PB&J cracker w/my 1st meal)..on the way back crossed Arsenal (busiest street in the small city I live in) at the same crossing I use frequently..a car with the left blinker on on Commerce Park..their light comes on seconds after the walk light..but he had to wait for thru traffic..I was 1/3 of the way across the street when he could proceed & he's cutting the turn short..he's got me..I'm trying to evade..saw his window was open & yelled "Do You See Me " he veered..I survived..but got to the other side..popped a tremor(dang essential tremor)..now according to NYS traffic code I have the right of way if I'm in a walk-lane w/the walk light which I was..only vehicle I have to yield to is a US Postal Truck..??..post office is on that street..when I walk at my usual time it's not unusual to see one of their little right-drive jeeps at the intersection..I stop before crossing..the same lady driving..see me..waves..I tip my hat & cross ..dang peeps need to read their traffic regs..probably on his cellphone..[an interesting article..cellphone vs driving whilst intoxi-cated link]..got back to my rooms a fair piece from the lobby..yup..room key-card won't work..so I trudged back to the lobby to get a new one..been an interesting day..anyways..just a few details to attend to be for I take my rest..at least it isn't my "final rest"..ergo.."nite all"....[17:36 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:13 UTC-4]* after I posted the weather decided I needed a sit down 'neath the shade of ye olde oak tree..at the time the clouds had dissipated & it was a beautiful sunny day with a nice cool breeze..I was  basically finished with my online day but just before 13:00 but decided to take a walk to Dollar General because I was told earlier in the week that they were expecting a re-stocking of the generic veggie juice that I usual get on the Sunday truck & whilst cleaning one of reading glasses broke another pair..2nd pair I'd busted in a couple days..I started wearing prescription glasses when I was about 12 years old & broke some many pairs my dad threatened to get me a bed at the optician's shop..now I use different mag readers..& have them placed all around my rooms & have pairs in both of my sling bags..I always buy the cheap ones because expense or cheap I've broken them all..so decided to stop at Ollie's as well..I can get a three pack for just over 4$w/tax..got to Dollar General & while they have gotten in a supply of Halloween candy..the veggie juice wasn't on the truck..(shakes his old grey head} so opted for a jug of tomato juice..I prefer the veggie juice but they both have potassium & a drink a glass every morning..helps keep Mr Charley Horse(aka:foot & leg cramps) away..& then off to Ollie's for a three pack of 2.0 mag readers  & no I haven't broken a pair of them yet..but their fate is sealed..got up just a tad before 04:00..checked my FB groups..an unsatisfactory session on "Replay Poker" ..just wasn't catching..but the rest of the day ran pretty smooth other than the FB groups..have had to deal with quite a few "mod alerts" & member reported posts/comments..peeps breaking the group rules..but than it 'tis the weekend..../....all that still remains of the day is a check-in or two on my FB groups & my evening meal..ergo.."nite all"....[17:38 UTC-4]..../....

*[19:06 UTC-4]*..after starting the draft with the weather decided I needed a short walk..just a turn around the oft mentioned "loop"..got back to my rooms..checked the pantry & frig & decided to take the walk to Aldi I'd penciled in for tomorrow right then..got just a few of the usual fare & by the time I got back it was after 17:30 & decided I would make my evening meal..did so & ate it while watching part of an episode of "Bones" on TNT..after decided to take my shower & meds & check-in on "The Farthest Side" & "May the Far Side be with you"..vetted a few new member requests..looked at the clock & figured I probably should finish this post..../....up right about the usual time..took care of some member requests & was playing poker on "Replay Poker"..first hand I played..had turned a Queen high flush..another player raised after the river to put me virtually all-in..knew he might have the cards to beat me..but thought the odds were I my favor..they were..an very nice pot & at the end of the hour left with a couple hundred chips I hadn't brung with..just after 10:00 decided to take a walk to Price Chopper..T J Maxx & stop at Dollar General on the way back along the way encounter about 20 geese who were blocking the sidewalk & my way..so walk slowly..& with gestures with hand & cane herded them of the side walk & onto the grass..MadTrollie..Goose-Herder..got a jar of peppers..some pre-cooked & breaded shrimp..3 plums & some grated cheese..none at T J Maxx..& some apple pocket pies at Dollar general..a light lunch..some egg&olive I'd made earlier on two pieces of light rye Wasa..never did get all my online play & drafts started until just before 16:00..but a good day..../....except for another look-in or two on my FB groups my day is at an end..oops..did watch the last two innings of USA/Canada softball from Tokyo..USA won 1/0 whilst eating my light lunch..ergo..

 *[17:12 UTC-4]*..This has turned out to be a crazy day..I never rolled out of bed until after 04:00 & with the usual morning off-line routine & taking care of some of the overnight member requests on "The Farthest Side" it was nearly 05:00 before I sat down at a table on "Replay Poker" was a decent table with out any loose play but the pace of play was excruciatingly slow..as we would have said back in the day "it was like watching paint dry"..played about a half hour..with the late start & snail's pace of play was ahead chip-wise & left..needed some things from Big Lots & Aldi..so took off just before 09:00..got a box of white tea at Big Lots & saw they had light rye Wasa bread..never had had it..but I love me some rye bread so got that..just a few of the /usual fare at Aldi & back to my rooms & decided I wanted to try a piece of the Wasa..once I got it out of the cardboard sleeve the breads were wrapped in a waxed paper..decided I needed to put them in a gallon zip bag..yup..went to the pantry..I was out..well..no sweat.. I've always got them at Ollie's..I know right where there are..be a quick in&out..yup..they'd moved them..no clerk in-sight..they had been towards the left rear of the store..finally found them in the right towards the front of the store..dang..got back to my rooms..just a short break for 2nd meal..decided to finish up the shrimp I had bought but needed to make more of my "room-made" cocktail sauce..well Wilbur..with a few other delays not the least of which is my left knee singing it's sad song intermittently all day..never got done with my game play & drafts until past 15:30..checked "The Farthest Side"..nothing had been done for 4 hours..took care of that..sat down to write this post..got the weather done & then decided..I needed to "chill-out"..took my shower & meds..relaxed & here I am..../....other then a meal..maybe a sit-down 'neath ye old oak tree & a look-in or two on FB my day is done..ergo.."nite all"....[17:37 UTC-4]..../....

   I took a quick walk to the plaza just down the hill from my rooms before I sat down to start this posting..had already checked the weather & just a look at the sky confirms the chance of a rain/T-storms..there are a few very ominous black clouds in the vicinity..had checked the pantry..within the next few day's needed to stop at both Dollar General & Aldi (w/a possible side trip to Big Lots) & because the weather was iffy today & looks okay for tomorrow decided to the the shorter & quicker trip today to Dollar General..just a 6-pack of bottles of orange soda..a box of crackers & a package of gel pens..a brand I hadn't tried before..Sharpie & was quite pleased with them..after some experimentation & testing..of the current "crop" of pens I've decided in the future to only get "gel" pens..not as good of a nights sleep as the last few nights but not bad..was up & online playing a session on "Replay Poker" by 04:20..[just shakes his old grey head] & then into my days play of sims&solitaire..a pretty good day & was all done & one draft publish & tomorrow started by just before 13:00..had a quick mid-day meal..I'd bought a package of pre-cooked& bread-ed shrimp at Price Chopper..warmed them in the microwave w/some of my "room-made" cocktail sauce & took the aforemention-ed walk to the plaza..on the way back took the short detour to the pond to see if the Great Blue Heron was there..'twasn't..no geese sighted either..still a few things to do to complete the day..ergo..I'm off..../....*[16:43 UTC-4]*..the weather had improved ..bright sun..but still on the cool side so spent sometime sitting "'heath the shade of ye old oak tree"..back to my rooms..showered & took my meds..nothing on the TV so will hang out online for awhile..still a meal to prepare &u consume before I take my rest.. ergo.."nite all"....[16:50 UTC-4]..../....

   Was basically all done with my online day & drafts completed by 14:00..only things that were left to do were look-ins on my FB groups & posting here..so decided I needed some fresh air..so decided to take a walk down the hill to  the plaza just to the west of my rooms..made stops at Ollie's & The Thrift Store & had thought about walking the oft mentioned "loop" & maybe checking to see if the Great Blue Heron had returned but although there was a decent breeze I just was feeling the heat & the muggy air & had worked up quite a sweat & decided that rather than a walk what I really needed was the AC in my rooms & a cooling shower (took my meds as well)..../....had the best night sleep I've had in a long time..about 6 hours without interruption & considering that one of my meds has diuretic properties..that doesn't happen very often..was online just before 04:00 & playing on "Replay Poker" soon after..played pretty even save for one hand..the "big stack" pushed the pot after the turn & river..he had as I found out later a pair of Aces..what he didn't know was I had turned an Ace high straight which was with the cards on the board was "The Nuts"(best possible hand)..basically doubled my stack of chips..a good day..rest of the day has run smoothly..except for "May the Far Side be with you"..the guy doing most of the vetting for new members doesn't..say 50 new requests..he just "hits" accept all.. ergo..we've got a problem with peeps who are constantly braking the rules..mostly scammers & forbidden political comments..so have spent a bunch of time today dealing with that..oy vey..../....still ah evening meal to prepare & consume..more look-ins on my groups..nothing on the TV worth my time..so maybe a couple more sims&solitaires before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....

*[18:35 UTC-4]*..I sit here contemplating my day..one of those that the further I got the behinder I was..awoke a little late..luckily neither of my FB groups had very many things I needed to deal with..an hour of poker on "Replay Poker" again not a very good session..just couldn't catch enough good hands..now because of the weather over the last few days had several stops I need to make so off I went at about 8:45..because of the number of stops decided to hit the ATM first for a little extra cash..then to Aldi..just bananas..cherry fruit/grain bars & a couple of bottles of fruit flavored sparkling water..then down the street to Price Chopper..wanted shallots but they had none..some chives..plums & a bottle of prepared horseradish..& the plan was to T J Maxx..dummkopf..forgot that on Sundays they open at 10:00 Am not 9:30..dang..so walked across the street to Speedway convenience store which involved a little backtracking..got a tube of my chew..& then back from whence I had been..still not open..rats..walk done to Dollar Tree..they usual have some prepared meals which I have gotten in the past..but they supply was pretty well picked thru & saw nothing I wanted..back to T J Maxx & they were just opening..got another grinder of Violet Salt..on holidays my bro & his Mrs usual invite me to dinner..she's a foodie & "haunts" T J Maxx almost as much as I do & I always take her a "foodie bag" as a gift & the new bottle I'm sure will find it's way into one of those bags..back to my rooms (no sightings of geese or herons) & 1 hour & 45 minutes had elapsed..never had every thing done until passed 16:00 & then spent the better part of an hour dealing with about 50 new member request on "The Farthest Side"..../....posted the weather..took  my shower & meds so most everything that needed doing is done..../....just a meal & few odd 'n ends to deal with..ergo.."nite all"....

   As I sit here in front of my Chrome Base I'm reminded what an old friend of my used to say..he often said "That the weather men were the only people he knew that got paid to be right 25% of the time" & I used to tell him he was too optimistic..despite the current weather above taken from "The Weather Channel" it was not raining just before I sat-down & recorded the weather & on my walk saw no evidence that we had gotten anymore that a sprinkle in the hours preceding my walk..had  been in my rooms all day & hadn't bothered to check outside..[shakes his old grey head..../....had a decent nights sleep but awoke about 03:30..de-cided there was no purpose in "rolling back over" so started my day & was online by 03:50..took care of some new member requests & a couple of mod alerts & was playing poker on "Replay Poker" about 04:20..didn't catch a lot of good hands but caught enough at the right times & ended the day with quite a few more chips than I had brung with me..as/always ate first meal at the computer whilst playing my sims&solitaire & had my gaming completed save for starting a draft on "Trollie's Game Room" by just after 13:00..had a light mid-day meal whilst watching a reply of a game on the NFL Network..finished the draft & despite the radar indicating rain took a walk (not in any rain)..to Ollie's..a bottle of evoo & a tin of danish cookies & to Dollar General for some gel pens & a 6-pack of 16.9 oz bottles of Diet Coke..& back to post here..../....still shower & meds to be taken.,an evening meal & with nothing on "ye old boob tube" worth my time..probably a few more sims&solitaire before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[16:30 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:15 UTC-4]*..as I sit here in front of the Chrome Base I realized it's exactly two hours since I had started the draft..it had been my intent to take a quick look/see at FB..take a walk around the oft mentioned "loop"..shower & take my  meds & sit down to finish this draft..well Wilbur..first thing I noticed was I had message alerts from my sis/bro&an old friend all over a day old..1 check for messages every few hours & had never seen an alert (shakes his old grey head)..took care of those..checked the groups & had a few mod alerts on one group..tells me when someone has comment or posted something against groups rules.. dealt with those..then check new member requests on "The Farthest Side" about 40 that needed vetting..better part of an hour in total..off for my walk..check the one pond but didn't see the Blue Heron..than back to my rooms by-way-of the lobby..I hadn't had a toffee coffee in awhile..back to my rooms..drank the coffee with a "Star Crunch" on the side..& then shower & meds..{deep breath}..../up at the usual time & right into my online..not the best of sessions on Reply Poker & was reminded of what one of the guys that I work machine maintenance with years ago at the shop..when he was having a bad day he'd say "This day is so bad that if I threw myself to the ground..I'd probably miss it"..that kind of a day..was mostly done with my online day save for play on "Just Solitaire" & starting of  the drafts & with the weather forecast for tomorrow..took the short walk to Aldi & got just the usual fare of goods..back to my rooms & spent time re-arranging&cleaning my frig..& then finished up the day..all that is  left to do is my evening meal & some check-ins on my FB groups..ergo.."nite all".....[17:33 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:09 UTC-4]*..after I started the draft for here with the weather I had a little lunch..just some garlic bread & an apple pocket pie..& took the short walk to Ollie's a couple of bags of Claeys hard candies & a bottle of dishwashing detergent..a stop at the "Thrift Story" saw nothing I wanted but a nice chat with a couple of the workers there..& then to Dollar General & just a package of paper bowls I use in prepping & serving my meals & because it was only slightly out of my way back to my rooms decided to check & see if the Great Blue Heron I'd see on the pond as still there or perhaps had returned..as I mentioned yesterday there is a heron rookery just a few miles south of here so don't know whether the heron is "camping out" or just a day visitor..in any case a beautiful bird & spent sometime watching..when I got back spent sometime vetting some of the new member requests on "The Farthest Side" & played a few more games on "World of Solitaire"..& then the daily shower & taking of the meds..& back online..a couple more member request & now here..../....up at the usual time..another crazy day on "Replay Poker" & another day of not catching many hands but my losses were more than covered by the "daily house money"...a decent day of online gaming & at this juncture all is completed save for the finishing of this post..my evening meal..a couple  more look-ins on my FB groups & maybe the watching of a few episodes of "Beat Bob Flay" oh the Food Network.I still think the since is a cooking shoe "Fillet the Flay" would be a better title....[17:31 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:13 UTC-4]*..I sit here before my Chrome Base freshly showered & meds taken..after posting the above weather forecast thought about the fact that I hadn't seen any Canada geese around about here for a couple of weeks so decided to take a walk to a pond I'd not visited yet this year..it isn't far..just not on my way to anywhere I go..so off I go & before I'd walked 100 yds..there were 20 feeding on a lawn just next to the oft mentioned plaza just below where I live..the only way you can tell this years' hatch by now is by size..so continued my walk to the far pond..maybe a dozen or so..so on my way back checked a pond right by the plaza parking lot..& saw a Great Blue Heron fishing..[I've placed a picture of one in the footer]..I've seen them there before but its been awhile..there is a heron rookery a few miles south from where I live..watch for several minutes...when I got back to my rooms posted an account of my walk to my FB timeline & vetted a few member requests..so at this point except for a few last details my day is pretty much wrapped up..../....had a decent nights sleep & got right into my day's play..bounced around between 4 different tables on "Replay Poker" & ended the day just marginally ahead..the rest of the day has run pretty smoothly..weather for the next today's looks fine with rains returning on Saturday so will be doing some checking of the pantry before than...../.....still a few details to cross off the list..a couple more check-ins on my FB groups..maybe some TV or a few more games & of course my evening feed bag..ergo.."nite all"....[17:34 UTC-4]..../....

   It was just after 14:00 when I completed my play on "Just Solitaire" & hadn't started the draft for "Trollie's Game Room" but got to thinking about altering my usual sandwich for mid-day meal the traditional sandwich has become a bit "heavy" considering the hot weather..ergo..off to Price Chopper to get a piece of pre-cooked\/breaded fish & some "Star Crunch"..as I was walking by the produce section saw some really nice pencil thin asparagus & some plums & added them to the cart..got a nice piece of cod..as well as the "Starr Crunch"..& then up to T J Maxx..found some thing I'd never either seen or for that matter heard of before..violet salt..which of course insisted on coming by to my rooms with me..got kinda a funky taste but I like it..stopped at Dollar General..a can of black olives..a can of deviled ham & a bag of ripple chips..was quite hot with little breeze & I worked up a good sweat.. decided to shower & take my meds before siting down to write this posting..in the process checked the weather for tomorrow & was quite pleased that more or less on a whim I had decided to that the walk today because the weather tomorrow ain't gonin' to be fit for man nor beast..../....been a pretty typical day so far..up round 04:00..played a very disappointing hour of poker on "Replay Poker"..just couldn't "catch" enough decent hands..the rest of the day has run fairly smoothly..been a busy day both on "The Farthest Side" & "May the Far Side be with you"..still my evening meal to consume & getting the aforementioned draft done..& maybe a few more games before I take my rest..ergo.."nite all"....[17:17 UTC-4]..../....

   Again no posting last night due to I was still spending great deal of time trying to get rid of the massive amount of new member requests on the FB groups "'The Farthest Side"..well Wilbur..we finally got thru the last of 'um just after 17::00 last night & as we would have said back in the day "I was toast"..I ate my evening meal whilst watching "Beat Bobby Flay" on the Food Network.. took a shower & my meds & off to a well deserved rest..have all my online activities for the day completed save for finishing this posting & attending to my duties as mod or admin on my two FB groups..had a decent nights sleep..but surfaced at 03:30 & decided to start..was on "Replay Poker" by just after 04:00..caught one hand at the right time..& ended the session with more chips than I  had brung to the table...got into my online day & had one of my posted to "Trollie's game Room" by just after 09:00 ..took a walk to Aldi..just the usual fare..nothing special & then  back to my rooms &/as/always when I've been shopping updated my budget..which is when I realized that Sunday would be the typical day that I got my  "10 day walking around money"..which meant the ATM..on Saturday as well..but because of the combination of the stress to my hands from the workload on "The Farthest Side" & the general damp weather of late my essential tremor condition has been a little more bothersome..aka:my hands have been shaking more than/usual & I in the past have had problems using the ATM..ergo..despite the fact that I'd just walked past the bank on my way back from Aldi..I decided to go back up the hill & take care of it today..well my departed dad was fond of saying "if you don't have it in your head..you have to have it in your feet..../....weather looks decent for the next few days & I need a few things from Price Chopper & maybe a stop at T J Maxx..penciled in for the next today..../....shower/meds/meal in my future..ergo.."nite all"....[16:17 UTC-4]..../....

   Well I was pounding away on the member requests backlog & after yesterday's temporary block for going to fast tried to slow done a bit..& then I started getting "page unavailable" well yesterday I just hit reload & it did..forewarned is forearmed..got one today & decided i'd give it a rest..dang..I was just starting to make some headway reducing the glut of new requests..oy vey..so I use two different "free sites"..one gather the weather that I post here & another to check tomorrows TV sites & as with most  "free sites" they are loaded with ads..& today after just leaving FB to avoid another temporary block..I check one & apparently there was a glitch in the ads loading & it "locked up" my Chrome Base..dang..just 'tain't my day...got started on line just before & was playing poker on "Replay Poker" by just after 04:00..didn't quite "bust-out" but had flopped good hand beat with significant chips in the pot by turned or rivered cards (oops..game played is Texas Hold "Um)..just wasn't my day..../....I apparently miss-laid one of my canes..have no clue where I left it..it's not in the room..so walked up to the bank..figured that was where I must have left it..nope..don't have guess one where else to look..I've decided I've been a victim of the "Cane Mutiny"..(sorry)..{not really)..I love a bad pun & the worse it is the better I like it..../....may watch & NCIS episode..shower & take my meds & then return to modding member request & see if I can avoid another temporary block..ergo.."nite all"....[17:01 UTC-4]..../....

   I didn't post here last night because I was helping the other mods on "The Farthest Side" deal with an avalanche of new member request from our recent move from a public to a private group..I'd continued to vet members this AM & just after noon & took a brief walk to Aldi..rain on&off the next three or four day's..started working on the member requests again & was informed I was temporary blocked for violation of community standards..I was moving too fast..dang..my hands were bothering me as were essential tremors..I'm usually a little quicker..????..anyways..I've been a bad boy without knowing I was  being a bad boy..oy vey..now on the other hand..FB has been very glitchie over the last couple of days..so..(just shakes his old grey head)..../....slept pretty well but awoke just after 3:30 & decided to get an early start so I could spend time doing some more vetting..was basically all done with my online game play & one draft published & tomorrow's started on "Trollie's Game Room"..worked on members requests til noon..a light lunch..("Cup o Soup}..back to the groups & then of to Aldi..just the usual fare..and back to the group..did maybe 10 member request & that's when "it hit the fan"..dang..lately it feels like "Big Brother" is always watching..good grief..have no guess as  to how long I'll be sitting in the corner with the dunce hat on..but on the other hand I should be used to it..I think there was a chair with my name on it in both the high school principle's office as well as the dean of students office in college..I had a reputation as a bit of a prankster..& it was well deserved..../....not sure how I'll spend the rest of my day..at this point have no guess one how long "temporary" is..ah..evening meal & maybe a few more games..ergo.."nite all"....[16:43 UTC-4]..../....[I've apparently served my time]..[16:19 UTC-4]..../....

*[18:09 UTC-4]*..after starting the draft here decided I needed some air..ergo..grabbed the folding chair & sat for awhile "in the shade 'neath ye olde oak tree..a beautiful night..a gentle cooling breeze & some fluffy white clouds slowly passing by & then back to my rooms for my daily shower & taking of the meds..../.....was a very bad boy this morning  & never rolled out of bed until after 04:30 & have been playing catch-up ever since..my session of poker on "Replay Poker" was just shirt of a total disaster..they say some times you eat the bear & sometimes the bear eats you..well Wilbur..that old bear made a feast of the old Trollie this morn-ing..got into my day & just before 09:00 checked the radar & the last of the rain had passed so decided rather than wait until tomorrow I'd take the walk to Big Lots & Aldi I'd penciled in for tomorrow this morning..just a can of salmon stuffed Spanish olives at Big Lots..(I fear the my love of them may become an addiction(hehe)..one of the clerks was a kid I haven't seen in awhile & had a nice chat..at Aldi just the usual fare..I decided to go this morning because I was almost out of dates which are a part of my first meal every morning..along with the obligatory banana..got them as well..../.....didn't eat my mid-meal until after 13:00...so probably will delay the evening meal a bit as well..../....as/of tomorrow "The Farthest Side" will move from a public to a private group on FB..& hopefully we can get the mess caused by the rule changes cleaned up & the group back to normal..[knock wood]..../....nothing on the old boob tube tonight worth my time & don't think I'll play any late games..probably will spend some time on "The Farthest Side" & see if I can reduce the backlog of member request a little & of course my evening repast..ergo..    Been a crazy day..it's rained off&on most of the day & that will continue pretty much thru mid-evening tomorrow..although the advanced forecast for Sunday promises nice weather..I got a latter from a local lawyer this morning when I went out to pickup my items for breakfast for the next two days concerning my wife's estate..we haven't been together for over 17 years & when she left to be with her new boy friend she said she was going to divorce me..apparently she never did..she past here recently..both myself & our daughter are eligible to act as the overseer of the process..I've decided to step aside as it were & allow my daughter to take care of that..because of my essential tremor condition I try to avoid as much stress as possible & I remember what my sister went thru when see was involved with my uncles estate..frankly I'm not really looking for anything from it..I have what I need..../ ....finally the decision has been made to change "The Farthest Side" from a public to a private group..as/of July 4th..but we are still trying to dig out as it were from the mess that FB's changes to public groups has left us in..not sure what course we'll take ...../....was up & at 'um about my usual 04:00..wild day of poker on "Replay Poker"..took some bad beats & was down over half my stack of chips..as about to leave..played one last hand..won a bid pot & left with a couple more chips than I had brung with me..../....one of my poorer day's on "World of Solitaire" kept getting what I call "big boy games"..just plain nasty ones..../....did get a brief "hole" in the weather & a quick walk to Dollar General..four apple pocket pies..a bag of ripple chips & a bottle of Gatorade Zero..sprinkled a little..../....still have to shower & take my meds & my evening meal awaits..ergo.."nite all"....[17:52 UTC-4]..../....

*[17:43 UTC-4]..a little later that of late I am siting at my Chrome Base reflecting on the day..in the process of checking the weather prior to entering the header..I realized that once the rain started later this evening we were looking at rain..intermittent at times thru early evening Saturday..I had intended to take a walk to the west & make stops at T J Maxx & Speedway convenience store probably Saturday morning..so a quick check of the radar told me that although rain was in the area it was going to pass just to the north of us here so decided to take that walk right then..but just to be safe decided to wear my light rain jacket ..any-ways off I went..while walking thru the parking lot a car on the way in let me pass & then from behind me I heard a voice say "I should have hit you..that's 1000 pts. isn't it"..turned..my niece L...I told her it was only if she knocked down my cane & left me standing..been awhile since I've seen her so we chatted for awhile..got a bottle of artichokes at T J Maxx & a tube of chew at the convenience store & then back to my rooms..I'm freshly showered & meds taken & except for finishing this post only a few details left to deal with  before I take my rest..did take the short walk to the plaza just below here..got an email from Ollie's yesterday..a store-wide 15% off  until Saturday..a bottle of very nice maple syrup & a box of black tea bags & a jug of veggie juice at Dollar General..other than that..it's just been a quiet day..did watch at episode of NCIS with 1st meal..../....all that's left is my evening meal..a few more look-ins on my FB groups & maybe a couple of games of solitaire..ergo.."nite all"....[18:04 UTC-4]..../....
