really nice day, warm, sunny, and i got the afternoon off, usually thursday is payday and i usually try to take the afternoon off if i can, do my banking and run errands, but couldn't get yesterday off which worked out because with the monday holiday today was payday, had intended to play golf but needed an oil change and by the time i got everything done, just didn't feel like playing...just haven't had the usual desire to play this year......
stop and got some breaded minced shrimp to fix for supper, and aggie my cat took two off my plate and ate them breading and all, cat has the strangest eating habits i've ever seen in a cat, she also likes french fried potatoes....
have to work briefly tomorrow and then do some yard work, have a get together to go to tomorrow afternoon, which i'm now looking forward to with mixed emotions,
have things i really should be doing around the house tonight, don't need to be done right no, but eventually, and just have no desire to do them...tired and no drive tonight....
almost forgot trollie pet peeve #276....woman in front of me in the drive thru banking, gets her money from the box and then sits there for 3 or 4 minutes doing heaven knows what.....trollie runs off to sharpen double bit axe

quite a nice day, a tad on the cool side but sunny and nice, i cut the grass tonight, probably could have waited but it was dry for a change, every other time i've cut it this year it's been damp and i really hadn't gotten an "even" cut on the lawn...looks good...was going to put out the lawn chair(s) but they need to be painted....i've got paint but not sandpaper or proper brush....so will probably wait until the weekend or next week...i may also not bother as more often then not i sit on the stoop....or i may just pick up something new....just will let whim decided....
work went okay today and stopped for groceries on the way home....had runout of greens and tomatoes, made a nice salad,some breaded haddock, and some fries...really nice meal....i've discovered the broiler lately, and really like fries cooked that way...
oh if you'd like to take a look have added a few poems to the poetry blog....link is over on the right there....i don't write that often...but will write a lot sometimes when i do....it's not really a fickle muse....but more like i forget sometimes i can write poetry.....

have you every tried to make your bed when you have an 18 Lbs. cat that insists on helping. if not do not try it unless you have been first properly instructed. my cat aggie will come running and plop herself in the middle of the bed as i'm trying to spread out the sheet and blankets, which results in a bed with a purring, furry lump right in the middle, and if left unaided she will stay there for hours, which makes it even more fun when one of the other cats decides to jump up on the bed, it's a battle worthy of the WWE. tonight i had washed the sheets, if you never tried putting a fitted sheet on a bed with a cat helper don't your sanity is worth more then that.....fortunately i haven't had my sanity for years so i have nothing to lose......

very strange day, many weird emotions, got an email from one of the guys that grew up in the same neighborhood where we moved to when the family moved to watertown some 38 years ago, the old gang is getting together for a little shindig saturday, now i was a bit older, they were mostly about my brother's age but they want to get together and play some wiffleball, which we played a lot of way back when, now this should be a scream because most of them are in their late 40's or early fifties and i'm 56, i hope they have an emt standing by, but haven't seen most of these guys in probably 15 years so should be fun......even if all i do is watch and laugh my arse off at them.....

very weird day on blogshares, i've been using a particular tactic for the last couple of weeks that has been super productive, well today for the first time it ain't working....every gain is offset by an almost equal loss and i'm hanging suspended as it were at the same net worth......hope it's just a fluke.....

well it's been a weird day, with yesterday off i can't quite get it through my head that today is tuesday,i'm not sure i actually woke up this morning, i mean i did manage to drag myself out of bed but i really don't think i woke up until this afternoon, the morning is very foggy in my mind....
really neat rehearsal tonight, we are working some of the teens into the group and they are really picking up the music very quickly...gives it a different sound, but i think better.....
i was up way too late last night and then had cats that got way to lonely during the night, now don't get me wrong, i love my cats, but not a furry little face waking me up at 3 AM because they need love.....sheeeshhhh!!!!!!

i should be in bed, but just a quick post, end of the long weekend, had a nice time at my daughters, she had shrimp on the barbe......excellent, had a nice chat, need to go to work tomorrow so i have no idea why i'm still up.....nite all

ESPN.com - NCAA - Syracuse edges Navy for ninth lacrosse title i watched this game this afternoon, just an awesome game, really well played on both side, there is a lot of local interest in this, syracuse is just down the road from here (70miles)m my daughter is and alum of SU, and 2 of the players powell for SU and dingman for navy both went to carthage high school which is about 15 miles away and my sister-in-law teaches there, and i have nieces and a nephew who attend(ed) there.......but even if there wasn't the connection, it's a neat sport and was a great game

was a nice sunny day today, if a bit on the cool side, after church went to my sister's for lunch, not bad but really was not in the mood for company so left early, watched the indy 500, and have spent most of the rest of the day just hanging loose....plan to sleep in tomorrow, have nothing planned until dinner at my daughters,
i just feel worn out....the last 3 months, really 2 years have been a real emotional roller coaster, and i just want to get off, to get back to a more normal life, but at this point no real end is in sight, i need to just get away for a while, although things are looking up,.....
