Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it was -31*F this morning at the weather station at the local airport, pardon my skepticism but it's days like to day that i have difficulty accepting the idea of global warming......and it's supposed to be cold thru sunday......tomorrow could be an interesting day....we are loading a load of small plot irrigation kits for Malawi on friday but tomorrow some people from the are are loading used office/medical equipment and donated medical supplies on the front half of the container....and it promises to be another sub-zero day....although the work will be done by volunteers i was asked to attend to help make sure the load was loaded so it would ride ( ride in the context of trucking basically means loading so it gets there in one piece).......and it's going to be another cold one.....should be lots of fun.......anyhow it's a good cause and i hope everything goes smoothly......will report tomorrow evening provided i've thawed out enough to type/think....am tired and headed for bed....nite all......
