Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

what a weird day weather wise, but then it's early winter here in the northcountry so maybe it's was really a typical day....at no other time of the year is the weather quite this much like a yo-yo. it was high 20's F and snowing this morning, then it warmed to low 40's and rain and then got really overcast, and foggy/misty....although it had more the character of a shroud, in any case my arthritis is going nuts tonight, i will probably have a difficult time sleeping merely because i will find it impossible to find a comfortable position in which to fall asleep, despite the fact that i'm quite tired, have stayed the last couple of nights...just vegged and played PC games today.....did run some errands....and got some figs...i'm a fig pig...i always buy a small amount because i will eat the whole bag at one sitting regardless of size...or type of fig for that matter...actually i don't buy them often....just once in a while as a special treat....but they are easy to find this time of year and are usually fresh because they are used in many of the traditional holiday cookies...off to eat figs.....
