Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i got a rather nasty surprise this AM....i woke up about 3:30 with a dull throbbing pain in my left ankle...to discover that my achilles' tendon was basically stiff as a board....now i pulled it years ago playing soccer( yes i know in most of the world it's football but i learned the game as soccer)....but as long as i avoid high cut shoes it usually behaves itself...well i have no idea what i did to set it off but anyhow it was really sore....i took a couple of IB's this morning a put some hot stuff on it and even at that it took about 4 hours for it to loosen up to the point where walking wasn't a painful thing to do...it feels a little better tonight but i'm afraid that it will probably tighten up again.....it's really a drag getting old.....was watching the westmiester dog show on the tube but the groups i really like are all on tomorrow so i think i'll take a couple more IB's and head to bed....night all
