Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i don't think i mentioned that yesterday was a really nice day weatherwise, mid 40'sF which is great this time of year, well while running my errands i had taken my coat off and left it in the car, woke up this morning and it's snowing like crazy, we ended up with about 8" of heavy wet snow, and for awhile the visibility was very poor and the driving conditions were pretty nasty.....snow has stopped and streets are okay but by the time i got home from work they had plowed and there was no way that i could get my low slung car into the drive without removing the snow.....so i get the blower out and try to start cleaning out the drive and it just isn't moving much snow (note: have not had reason to use it in over a month) and knew exactly what was wrong....had broken a shearpin on one side so only half of the rotor was working....i really think i have a spare pin somewhere....i just can't remember where somewhere is....so had to shovel that wet, heavy snow........rats.......
