Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

the day has smoothed out and i feel pretty good, made one of my favorite things for an early dinner.........about 3/4 of an inch of light pasta, you could use vermicelli or angel hair, broken into 1/3s.......cooked to just before el dente........then drain and put in a fry pan with some pre-melted butter.....til just a hint of brown.......then add 2 eggs that have been heavily whisked together with a spot of milk and about a 1/4 of a cup of romano cheese grated.......and stir constantly until the eggs set.......lovely........then about 8 i had a late supper in the garden.......some blue cheese, figs, oil cured olives, a few hot peppers and some crackers with ceylon tea and a bit of aged brandy.......just enjoyed the evening.....and i feel great...........
