it's late, well not really late late but i do need to get up at 6 AM tomorrow, and i need my beauty sleep....boy do i ever need my beauty sleep....i took a half day and played golf.....spent some time this afternoon playing the older 'puter game civil war general....i also have CWG II, but inspite of the fact or maybe because of the fact that there are more options with the later version i prefer the original, much quickier game....just a lot of fun.......also played blogshares quite a bit...new features came live at about 8pm EDT.....haven't really done much with it yet but did purchase an artefact which has special functions associated with it....and no i did not mis-spell it......british game designer using the old spelling of "artifact"...lilly was driving me nuts earlier, she jumped on my lap while i was trying to type something, and then tried to dislodge a hair ball....cute...really cute...you haven't lived until somenight in the dark, barefooting it to the old john you step on a freah hairball......i have a few choice words that i save for just such an occasion.....my other favorite is on i get woken up in the middle of the night when all 3 cats decide to hold an over the top rope battle royale in the middle of my bed.......the joys of being owned by cats.......nothing beats it......

bizet, the 2 suites from L'arlesiene and the 2 suites from carmen and ice water, weather cleared off into a beautiful evening and as i felt much better went out and played a quick 9, went out to the mall first, i think way too many peolpe up here have seen the movie fast and furious....seems like every other car has one of those big spoilers on the back of it...well anyhow feel much better tonight....but am very tired and need to be in early tomorrow ao will probably make an early exit....

it's raining and it's welcome, as much rain as we've had this spring it hasn't rained for better then a week and things were getting too dry, i keeped the garden watered but the lawn was beginning to get a little burned out....besides i really don't want to play golf today and now i have an excuse..not that i reaally need one......did not sleep well last night and really have felt a little out of sync all day.....have played a little bloogshares....watched a little tube and played at a few video games but nothing seems to hold my attention......have much to say but can't seem to find the words....i sometimes battle between being open and honest ......and private and secretive....part of it lies in the fact that this is an open medium........anyone can read what i write......and that would make no difference because i am who i portray myself as being to most everyone who reads me.......i "hid" behind the hidden nature of the web........really name and location not known.....on the other hand i can be found by people who know me in the "outside" world....and there are things i might feel free discussing in front of complete strangers....those who i will never met......never see face to face that i would with hold from those who know me face to face........weird but true.......i come from a background were much was taboo....was not discussed openly......was keep within.......ane even though i know that too much restraint can be bad ....i still have trouble being open on some issues......totally silly but true....

it's late and i'm tired, and feel a little unwell, just indigestion and my left hand is bothering me a little. has been for the last couple of days, i just think it old age creeping up on me.....although sometimes i do believe it's coming up on a dead run rather then creeping.....was so bored tonight that i sat down and watch the first mission impossible movie......i got to be really bored to watch anything that has tom c in it......zzzzzzzzzz....dozed off there.........i think it's time to hit the sheets........nite all......

just a beautiful day and i sit inside messin' with the 'puter.......lord i think i'm turning into a silly,geekie,nerdie old man....well if the shoe fits......i need to think about going out to run some errands and get some lunch....but if i follow my standard saturday pattern i'll go out and end up coming home and throwing something together and eat about 2...i've sorted thru my links list today and reduced the size/number of links.....ones i never use or have lost touch with the person, but i might have gotten one in error, if i dumped yours by accident shoot me an email and i'll replace it...if you read my site on a regular basis and what me to link to yours give me a shoot.......i'm off in quest of lunch

was in the mid-70's today, which was a relief from the hot weather of the last few days, work went remarkably well for an end of month, in fact was able to leave a little early and get to the course before the rush, despite that fact that i got caught by road work both on the waut and back, but as we say up here there are only two seasons...winter and construction.....have been working a little on assembling material for my new fiction blog....i have the intro story done and have been working on several stories in my mind...have nothing on "paper" as it were yet but then i have no particular deadline in mind for launching the site.....i've been thinking about doing something of the sort for a couple of years, first on a regular web site but now i think i'll use a blog....and actually sitting down to write the intro was the first real progress i've made....so i would guess knowing me it will probably be later then sooner, but younever know, whim is something that does control muow i do so ......who knows

well that seemed to work so it must be the code for opening another window that caused the problem....but the funny thing is i selected ignore the problem and it works ok....must just be a bug.....

this is a little strange, i think the heat is effecting me more then what i realized, one of my favorite if not my actually favorite clint eastwood movie is on, in fact it one of the few movies made from books i've read that i actually like the movie, how be it they did in my opinion change the storyline a little too much from the book but i do like them both, on top of that it is one of the earlier film scores by john williams....music is excellent......and i started to watch and was totally unable to get into the flick, weird (oops.....the eiger sanction.....sorry) ......i'm sitting in front of the puter sweating my arse off.......and i truly think that some of it is not sweat but is my brain melting and coming out the holes in my head...

which reminds me i had a little trouble with the "new blogger" earlier when i put the link to the poetry corner and set it up to open in another window i got told i did something "illegal".......i don't think the code police ronto me yet but anywho i'm not going to open the attic in another window and see if it's just the link that's causing the problem........i'm off to take a cool bath and see if it preserves what brain hasn't leaked out already
