Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

as i sit to write this post i'm being bombarded by the absolutely grotesque canned music of the ice cream truck parked at the corner i live on, i know it's a surer sign of spring than a robin ( by the by the american robin is not a robin at all but a thrush), but it is so bad it makes me cringe.
i felt lousy this morning from my cold, but some how managed to get to work and wasn't feeling any better but when i got home i realized that i either needed to mow the grass today or risk not being able to find the house, although a baling machine may have been an easier choice, got the lawn cut, did some laundry, made lunch and started feeling better, have zoned most of the afternoon but am tired tonight.
i just don't understand what some humans use for brains. the city i live in has really bad winters and the streets can be really rough in the spring time before they get around to fill in the pot holes, i ran an errand this afternoon and while i was out here's this bozo riding one of them mountain bikes down the street, one handed while talking on a cellphone and not paying any attention to where the heck he was going....and if some poor slob driver had the misfortune of this idiot pulling out in front of him he'd probably lose the law suit......
i've decided to take a break from blogshares, i know some will probably misinterpret my motivation because it comes at a point of change in the game, which had nothing to do with the decision to step away....i had decided to play to the end of april and then take a break, i've played the game for just over a year and i get bored with things after awhile, i'm the same way with PC games, i'll play a game constantly for weeks and then get tired and not play it for months.....it was just time to take a break, the timing was well....just the timing......and i probably will return at some point....so beware the mad trollie is still lurking......
