Okay so I freely admit that I made a mistake, I broke the law, I forgot to check the date on my car inspection, and was over due. I got pulled over by a state cop, within the confines of the Town of Watertown (Town of Watertown has no police force). So I go to my court date, spend 3 minutes with the judge and his clerk. Got fined the minimum fine which was 25$…(note: fine goes to the state). But also got charged 55$ in court fees…?????????????????????????????????????
