Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i always thought i had a sense of humor........a bit twisted, a bit to the gallows........but based on the current crop of sitcoms..........i just don't get them......have i lost my sense of humor.........or have the producers, writers.........of the modern sitcom lost theirs, assuming they ever had one............now don't get me wrong......i love puns......i love the double entendre.....i loved Spike Jones......where is George Carlin when we need him......even Don Rickles.....and Groucho Marx........
i guess i've grown too old.........and humor, and many other things have past me by........
when i was in my teens the i remember my elders talking about the return to the 'good old days'....and quietly inside laughingly...........but i have a point in my life when i find myself doing the same thing.........
