Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

a really wet, windy day here in the old northcountry, i had probably the best night sleep i've had in months last night and felt pretty good today, well until i took a spill in the parking lot at work, between the fact that it was kind of slick, plus the wind was strong enough to effect even my bulk and to tell the truth i wasn't really paying attention i took a fell, hit my knee which feels okay but the bulk of my weight landed on my elbow, which is as we speak stiff and turning black and blue, it will be okay, nothing broken or anything but it will certainly be sore for a few days, day went pretty good except for the fact that i couldn't find the right map ( manifest if you will) for the transfer and went nuts for about an hour thinking i had a major inventory glitch, once i found the right map everything made sense......
grocery shopped after work, got a bunch of stuff i didn't really need....including some fresh bratwurst which i had for dinner with some kraut and a hunk of french bread......very nice........off to watch the dog show.....
