Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i spend sometime hanging out at two different boards, both inhabited by bloggers......links to both over on the right.....(blogboard and bitchfest).......the bulk of the members ( or at least those who post) on blogboard are guys and on bitchfest are girls, it kind of reminds me of the third grade, boys sit on the right and girls sit on the left, yes Mrs Stern, no i didn't throw a spit ball on the girls side of the room......( a response usually followed by a loud "wack"), i think the funniest thing is that the basically guys board is very serious for the most part, and very little bad language, but the gals board, basically they let it all hang out......but then it was a lesson i learned at about 19 years of age when while working as a bouncer in a public library (that's a different story i'll tell one day) i also had to clean the restrooms, now i was used to the level of vulgarity that graced the stall walls in the boys room, but having grow up thinking that girls were somehow different, and would not do something like write vulgar things on john stalls it was an eye opener.....it made the guys stuff look like it came out of the weekly reader........but the day i almost lost it ( that is my supper) was the day i found something used stuck to the wall....i'll leave the actually item involved to your imagination.
