Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it is a wet, damp, rainy day in watertown right now, and although just in the mid 30'sF it feels warm....but it is suppose to turn colder and the rain turn to sleet and then snow, i can only hope that the transition period with the sleet is a short one, man i hate ice...unless of couse it's crushed and i find it in a mixed drink.....

the truth about my weekend shopping spree can now be told........walking though walmart i heard this voice saying " there's our father...he's abandoned us" i'm in the golf aisle at the time i look around and see nothing...i start to leave but again the voice, now tearful...."daddy take us home".......i look and realize that it's a set of dunlop irons tears staining their stainless steel (yah i know it doesn't make sense but you had to be there)...... hush i say to them....your mistaken.....then i hear " Call 911"....well what was i to do.......but i'll tell you one think for sure if those lovely little sticks don't behave on the golf couse they'll spend the rest of their lives in the garage.....i thought my troubles were over...but i guess word gets around.... while in klien's sporting goods i was accosted by a lob wedge, a 14* 3wood and 3 dozen golf balls which basically told me that if i didn't take them home they were going to brake my legs......dang what was i to do.......
