it was very cold over night, -3*F at 8am...but it has some advantages...if it's this cold even if it snows we won't get very much, it also cools the lake and lessens the possibility and extent of lake effect/enhanced snow.....but eventhough we usually get a bunch of sub-zero days during the winter it is unusual to get them this early, more often then not they usually occur in Jan. or early Feb.
