Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

the day started out great eventhough i really didn't feel physically all that well this morning, the first thing i did after getting up was to turn my pager off. it's the first time it's been off since the 3rd of january, but production shut down at 6 AM this morning, so there is no there to call me in.....2 days with out the little rascal able to bug me......
was about 5*F this morning when i woke up and now in the mid 20's F......now that is still cold but is like 60 degrees warmer then the -40*F wind chills we've had the last couple of days, i mean i'm not about to start running around in shorts ( not that i ever do, but then i have very ugly legs) but i actually feels warm.......
spent an hour and a half in the plant this morning finishing up month end numbers and inventory.....
bought a pair of pants and then went in to a grocery store then i never buy my weekly groceries at but just get some specialty items at......a pound of pastrami, a bunch of vidalia salad onions and a tube of anchovy paste......i love anchovies but i'm just to lazy and hate the hassle of dealing with the canned type, the flavor of the paste is more intense and a whole lot less hassle.....
had a salad and ice tea for lunch....have a few chores i probably should do today but i think i'll put them off to tomorrow and just take it easy the rest of the day
