Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

very strange, had a good nights sleep and felt pretty good this morning, wasn't near as cold as yesterday and didn't spend as much time this morning as yesterday in the semi-heated warehouse , but the cold just went through me today......got just bone cold, felt lousy......so took the afternoon off......i can't figure out why it affected me that bad today unless i'm coming done with a cold or something......
stopped on the way home and got some fixings for a pot of soup......a little beef, some kale and some canned peeled tomatoes, oh and some garlic........trollie can't cook without garlic.....some cabbage and onions which i had on hand......and a few egg noodles to finish it......came out great....
have never cooked with kale before, i'm not sure i've ever had kale before but it's not bad, and i will use it again........only thing is i rough chopped it this time and it holds it's crunch pretty good, i think i'll use a bit finer chop the next time.......
well anyhow had a quick lunch of eggs and bacon.......a nice long hot bath.......and the soup for supper and i feel warm now at least but tired........
