Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

who ever thought that sunday was a day of rest certainly forgot to include me, i need to be at church by a little after eight for a quick run through before first service, but also had to spend about an hour at work this morning, so the only way that was going to work was to roll out of bed about 6, which is about an hour early. my cats were not pleased......
everything ran pretty smooth and i was home by 11:30, but we had got a few inches of snow last night, not so much that i couldn't drive through it but enough that indeed to shovel the walk, then there was a sink full of dishes, and before i had lunch done and eaten ( a boneless rib eye and some pierogies) it was one o'clock.......
now i know for a fact that the 3 fur balls that share my abode with me are cats, but 2 of them really hounded me during lunch, it seems little the smell of the rib eye was too much for them, so being a soft touch, and also out of concern for my well being a shared a little....
relaxing afternoon, evening service went fine and now i must needs think about a little supper.......
