Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it was a beautiful sunny winter day in old watertown today, not a cloud in the sky and mist was raising from the black river as a drove to work, that was the good news, the bad news was it was -30*F with a -40*F wind chill, and i spent the first 3 and a half hours on the forklift in the warehouse were the only heat is on the dock.........by the time i got back to the plant i think i had ice cubes between my toes (hehe)
and i could have been worse, i had another load scheduled for today but we couldn't find a truck for it.....it's headed for northern florida and know body wants it, can't blame them real, there just is no freight headed out of there this time of year........and they'd probably have to dead head a couple of hundred miles to find a load.........
did my banking and ran some errands, got another fleece throw, which i put on the bed and i now have two cats camped out on it..........got some take out fish for supper, by the time i got home it was almost 6:30 and was in know mood to cook.....
although i have finally warmed up, i am really tired from the day........didn't really "work" that hard but cold always effects me that way..........headed for a hot bath and an early night
