Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it is getting nasty outside, although the thunder and lightening is at a distance, it does appear to be headed this way......about time...i knew this morning we were in for a bad storm...my onboard barometer was going off ( my arthritis)......felt really bad this morning but went in anyways because i knew there were a couple of things that i just had to do today or the rest of the week would have come "unglued".....but was able to get done by noon and came home , spent the afternoon cooking trollie stew, this a combo of lamb and veal that came out really great, i've been playing with different combinations of things and finally have hit on some really good combos....
rehearsal tonight was fun, just the old hands and it worked great..one of the reasons i took this afternoon off was that i knew i'd probably not have the energy to go tonight and it is the high point, or at least one of the high points of the week.....i do love making music.....
