Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it was a cool but sunny day in town so decided that i'd play golf....still wanted to play at least one more time and this time of year you take what chances you get..........
however:
mistake 1: didn't factor in to the play equation that i was going up near the river, and fairly open terrain.......about low 40's and about 15-20 MPH winds......
mistake 2: decided to play anyways
mistake 3: decided to play a second 9
result: 1 frozen trollie
i really didn't realize how cold i had gotten until the ride home, and when i had the heater on in the car, my ears were tingling the way they do when they've gotten really cold and then they warm up a bit too quickly.......
had leftovers for lunch...a late one and am sitting here with a nice warm pot of ceylon tea and am warm now.........but am thinking of taking a hot bath.....
i never really have tolerated cold very well, and as i get older i tolerate it even less....which begs the question of why i live in an area that gets down to at least -20*F virtually every winter....the only answer i can give is that i'm dumb as a box of rocks
