Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

never got out of bed this morning until a very decadent 9:30, but it felt good, i feel as rested as i have in a long time....kicked around online and made a late breakfast and a pot of coffee about a quarter to eleven.....coffee and i are have a funny relationship....i never make coffee or order it out between the end of may and the end of september, i will occasionally drink a cup at work but other then that nada......but from october to the end of may i drink it by the gallons.....being the cold weather months......hot tea i drink year round, but for some reason i associate coffee with the cold weather......
got out about noon and decided to head down to a fruit and veggie stand between adams and adams center, was really looking for some cider but ended up with brussel sprouts and a turnip....no cider......so cut across 177 out of adams center over the edge of tughill and into burrville the back way.......not a road i'd choose in the winter.....snow fall up on tughill is heavy...
anyways was headed to the
cider mill in burrvile.....there has been a mill there since 1801.....but it was packed and i really didn't want to park on the road and walk in, so decided to stop at another fruit and veggie stand on the east of the city, which usually has pretty good cider...
i really in enjoy the early cider the best....usually made with macs and cortlands.....the later cider made with the late apples is okay but i like the early the best. also the kind i get has no preservatives in it so it will "turn" abit if left for awhile.......i love natural "carbonation".......
