Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

another really nice day today, other then church this AM did nothing today, just too stiff and sore from the yard work yesterday....watched the indy 500.......really interesting race......despite a couple of rookie mistakes was most impressed with the showing of danica patrick......that girl has a real talent and i think will really develop into an exceptional racer........i think the funniest thing they did was a tale of the tape....the borg-warner trophy that the winner gets is 5"3" tall and weighs 110 Lbs.....if she ever wins indy at 5"1' tall and 100 Lbs. she'll have a heck of a time with the trophy...........
nothing planned for tomorrow other then a cookout at my daughter's.........and i really don't think that by tomorrow i will have recovered enough to play golf........ah well........
have been giving the idea of the ornamental grass some thought......and think if i do decide to add some to the garden will wait until next weekend.........still mulling ideas of how or where to use it........may decide to pass on it.......simply because i don't just want to throw it in some where...... it's got to make some sense with what i have and my basic design........
