Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

it was a very nice spring day, sunny if a bit cool and windy but a relief from the dreary weather of the last couple of days.......but with as busy as i am on sundays i really just observed the nice day from the comfort of my easy chair......i had a real brutal week at work from a physical standpoint and just needed to rest........
plan to watch iron chef america in a bit and then off to bed........boy do i know how to have a hot time
blogshares has been fun the last few days and we have a whole bunch of n00bs who are posting to the forum....fun and at the same times can be a bit tedious........answering the same questions over and over does get to you from time to time yet.....some of the new crop have a sense of humor and that's a treat.........although i still have a goal of getting back into the top 10 and should do that by the end of the month, that's really not what keeps me playing after 2+ years......it's the mental fencing on the forums and #blogshares....the the community of the game and some of the people i've met..........mostly it's out of friendship........if that word can really apply to people i've met on line....people i have never seen.....people i have never and probably will never met "face to face"........i fooled around a while ago with the term "net-buddy"......to try to keep it straight in my mind but the truth is despite the separation and connection only over the net i see some of them truly as friends.......there also a few i've met that i stick around on the game and the forum/channel only to be a thorn in their sides.........ah but such is the personality of a troll........
