Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

what a nice weekend, weather has been just great, not hot, after all it's still may in the northcountry but warm, sunny, and nice........had a great night sleep........got up late and made the run through 3 different nurseries, really didn't need anything but you never know what you might see that you must have, as usually found nothing at rhoade's but i should be used to that, i'm not sure why i even go there other then habit.....was my wife's favorite greenhouse....but i always did think and think now that their selection is rather "see spot run" and overpriced.....and while we are no longer together i think i go there from sheer force of habit.......came back towards town and stopped at doctuer's.......more from the point of seeing old friends then necessarily getting any plants but ended up with a stock plant for the rock garden.........then was headed to sonny's and ended up getting stopped by the parade in brownville and then getting .....well not lost exactly but didn't come out where i thought i would.......just don't do the back country road thing very often.....got a reed grass, a perennial salvia.......and some blue cheese.........a bag of marble chips at lowe's and home to finish the garden...........ah forgot stopped at mickey d's for breakfast on the way out of town..........
got everything planted and decided i really need another bag of marble chips but that can wait until next weekend.......besides i've blown my garden budget out of the water.......again........
had dinner at my daughter's and have spent most of the evening just sitting in the garden and relaxing........it was a great day.......maybe a simple day but a great day no the less
