Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

i was more beat then even i realized, i slept 12 hours last night, minus the trips to the little boy's room, i am 57 after all, and may have slept longer if my 3 cats hadn't had a triple threat match on the end of my bed.....but i can't really blame them because 9 out of 10 days i'm up by a little after 7 and checking their food and water, i can hear the argument now....it's your fault dad has slept until after 9 , no it's your fault.....cue hissing and spitting.....

so i work up to a damp, rainy, ugly morning....it's been beautiful all week....when i was working and so my only "real" day off this week and it's lousy weather......rats

a little egg, bacon, oil cured olive omelet on rye toast for breakfast with coffee, a little corn beef stock soup with noodles for lunch.......

went out and got some socks and bread and ice cream this afternoon.......i have falling in love with dove icecream......i has few flavors then most "designer" ice cream but the neat part, the part i love is that each pint has a layer of dove chocolate on top.......And very good ice cream

had a cold corn beef sandwich with some corn and cheese for dessert....Very nice....

blogshares was down earlier in the day but when i came back up i had an excellent days play

cleared off this late afternoon and even though i hate cutting the grass when there is moisture in it i really had no choice, it had to be done or it would have required a bailing machine.......
