Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

a cool damp day today, really hasn't rained but one of those days when it feels like it could any second, have added a blogchalk button, basically just for the simple reason that i felt like adding something....anything....was going to take the afternoon off but am sitting here taking a break waiting for and inbound to arrive.....also need to go over to the warehouse on a scavenger hunt, something which we haven't used in over 10 years....and really don't know a- if it's even there or b-if it is there where in the house is it i went to a very conservative baptist college that was rather picky about language....particularly words of 4 letters, well i had a dorm mate who always used to answer the common phone ( no private phones in your room or cell phones remember circa mid 60's) "Schaffer Hall who in the Hall do you want" well anyhow one day he had the misfortune to do that when the dean of students called.........well all "hall" broke out, and he was under discipline for the rest of the term....
