i don't know why but this article just caught my eye Falling Italian Satellite to Shower Earth with Debris This Week
bits of local imformation you don't know....added one today,,,today is th 190th anniversary of the death of american explorer and general..General Zebulon Pike.......Pike's Peak is named after him.....he was killed in an invasion of canada (then a british colony) during the War of 1812......his part of the force left aboard ship from just down the road from here...Sackett's Harbor, and in fact he's buried in Sackett's....althought the article did not say so probably in the military cemetary out there...will have to check that out sometime this summer...altought i guess i don't need to hurry, after all he isn't going anyway (yah i know sick joke but it's been one of those days)
