it's 47*F right now but is supposed to get into the low 60's with a little rain this AM.....not raining right now...but it is "rainy".....one of those does when you can almost "smell" the rain in the air..
NASA hopes to get pictures of cosmic nursery article talks about the last of the 4 "telescope" packages that NASA is launching....Hubble being the most recognizable....not a particularly earth shaking event on the surface but one thing did catch my eye (quote)What will Sirtf, originally set to cost $2.2-billion (U.S.) but brought in at $750-million (U.S.) by a budget-conscious space agency, actually do? Take baby pictures of the stars for one thing.(/quote)
lord almighty what is NASA thinking, bring a project in under budget.....man all the government agencies must be really pissed at them....i can here it now...."But senator we couldn't help it....cost over runs etc.etc.." "But NASA brought the Sirtf in under budget..."
how dare a government agency spend less of my money then they said they would......sheessshhhh!!!!!!!....wasn't there room in the project for a $75000 toilet seat.......
