Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

[+49*F..clear..winds: e/s/e@4 mph..humidity: 82% barometer 29.98" /\..clear tomorrow..rain both Tuesday & Wednesday..no rain Thursday..but the rains return on Friday]..
[Now Playing: a mix of traditional music [aka: oompah music[listen]]..
With the rains coming this week decided to breakup my shopping in three trips..walked this AM to Aldi..got what I needed through at least Thursday..I usually avoid shopping at Aldi on Sunday because for whatever reason it's their busiest day of the week..and then later in the day I walked to Ollie's and Dollar General..didn't get a think..and frankly went there for an excuse to walk..and some time tomorrow will go to Price Chopper and probably Dollar Tree and T J Maxx as well..
Has been  a busy day on "The Farthest Side"..still have to button up "Trollie's Game Room"..and the usual check of email and a last check on the "The Farthest Side"..
Growing up in the Buffalo New York area..there were a large number of immigrants from europe..and especial eastern europe..in fact at the time there was a polish language radio station in the area..which of course played a lot of polka music..but also some of the other traditional european music..and I played a brass instrument in the high school band..french horn..and we would from time to time play those pieces..actually they were as we would have said back in the day "a blast" to play..
[20:56]..."Trollie's Game Room" is "tucked in" for the night...off to check emails and the "Farthest Side"...nite all...
