[+26*F/+22*-windchill..Lo:+21*F..fair..winds: s/s/w@5 mph..humidity:45%..barometer:30.12"~]..
[Now Playing..MadTrollie's.."The Mix"..]
According to the current weather forecast it's supposed to rain most of the day tomorrow and in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday..so except for the large piles in parking lots were plowing was done I expect most of the snows of Friday will be gone by Tuesday..
Did take the walk to the west and the convenience store and Price Chopper..although a little icy and rutted in spots not bad..from observation a vehicle with a plow blade started at Commerce Park and plow the sidewalk on the north side of Arsenal all the way to Western Blvd..the greater potion of this mornings walk..while at the convenience store had a chat with the one clerk that I've now for several years..apparently she and the manager also a lady who I've now almost since I've moved to this area some nine years ago..during the blizzard they were the only two working that day..both are probably in their early to mid 50's..and were pushing cars that had gotten stuck in the parking lot..and some of drivers so the story went had not guess one how to drive in those conditions..just to the north of town is Fort Drum..home of the 10th Mountain Division..and many of the soldiers and their families are from the southern or western US..and have zero experience driving in snow let alone in blizzard conditions..
One of the pieces in "The Mix" is Beethoven's Hallelujah from "Christ on the Mount of Olives"..years ago I had a CD with that piece on it..and a yellow and grey budgie name of Stormy..who loved classical music and that piece of music in particular..as soon as she heard the intro she'd be bouncing and head bobbing on her perch..and as soon the the choir began to sing she would sing and chirp along..way off key..but she really enjoyed herself..and of course I had a problem not laughing my tuckus off..
Still a few things to deal with..has been a very busy day on "The Farthest Side"..just a veritable flood of new member requests..so I wish you a Good Day....
