Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

[+35*F..w/win-chill: +26*F..snow..winds: west@13 mph..humidity: 70%..barometer: 30.25" /\ ]
[sunny both tomorrow and Sunday..high temperatures mid 20s F tomorrow and upper 30's on Sunday which are more seasonal the lower temperatures of late] Now Playing:[Best of Franz von Suppe]..
You may never have heard of Franz von Suppe..he was a contemporary of the Strauss family of composers in Vienna..but if you've ever seen any of the older cartoons..Bugs Bunny for example..you have heard his music..poor guy didn't realize that when he was writing light classical music that would late end up as background music..and many other composers of the 19 century their works ended up in cartoons as well Wagner and Rossini for example..because it was in the public domain it could be used without paying a copyright fee..
The weather was not good today..a little snow..a little rain..a little freezing rain..the dreaded "winter mix"..but thankfully no  was bad as was predicted..was planing on walking tomorrow and may still..but  will check conditions and since the forecast for Sunday is a tad warmer my wait until then..
Have spent the day as I often do but spent a couple of hours watch a flick on FX..Now You See Me I've seen a few times but enjoy it..but as often is the situation..there is a sequel..which frankly I can't tolerate..same thing with Pitch Perfect liked the first and can't stand the sequels..and don't get me started on the rash of remakes of some of the older classic flicks..
But  the end of the day is upon me..still have to do day-end on "Trollie's Game Room"..another look in at the FB group "The Farthest Side"..were I'm a moderator..we are approaching 35K members..and check my emails..nite all..
