Watertown, NY, USA . "Public Square" (vintage, date unknown) but the monument is honoring veterans of the American Civil War so the date of the image is late 1800s

It was damp and cool today, fall is definitely in the air, although we still haven’t had a frost yet……services went great today………

I had a small loaf of French bread that I split, added olive oil, garlic, fresh grated romano cheese, some black olives and sun dry tomatoes….popped it in the oven…..with the last of the cider………..then put a small pork roast in a pot with yellow turnip and boiling onions, salt, pepper and bay leaves and let it simmer for like 3 and a half hours……..very nice that was supper, and have leftovers for lunches this week……..

Relaxed, watched the president’s cup and the indy racing league race from the glen……..

Have a very heavy week this week so must to bed
