[+39*F_cloudy_winds:w/s/w@13_mph_humidity:51%_barometer:29.74"\/_ overnight Lo:+26*F_some light snow expected later this evening]....[Now Playing on MadTrollie:"The Mix"]....
Yup..a light dusting of snow possible this evening..and yup I know it's May..but one year we got 15" of snow on Mother's Day [always the 2nd Sunday in May]..and one year 18" of snow the day before Columbus Day [always the 2nd Monday in October]...there are two other Northcountry adages that apply here..[1] we have three seasons here.."Winter..just was Winter..soon will be Winter" & [2] we have two seasons.."Winter & construction".. and I  have seen a dusting of snow in June as well....
I'm reminded of a driver we saw about every 6 or 8 weeks..he delivered a truckload of plastic sheeting to factory out of Texas..he came one August day when it had been 90+*F and 90% humidity for the last 7 or 8 days..and me and the boys were "melting"..he needled me and my clerk on how we "northern boys" just couldn't handle weather..I told him if there was any justice in the world he'd catch this load in January when it was -25*F and then we'd talk about it..well it was a sunny January day..with a windchill of -40*F..and I was expecting the load..the door to the shipping/receiving room opened a an arm could be seen waving a white handkerchief..we poured coffee down him for about 15 minutes..and then said he "The Lord God made Texas for humans..and this God forsaken wilderness for polar bears"..needles to say he never mentioned how we did or didn't handle weather ever again....
Did take a short walk down the hill to Ollie's and Dollar General just to pick up  a few things I needed..and will walk to Aldi either tomorrow or Sunday for  food stuffs..but with the way the weather has been changing almost hourly will pick my spot....
a wish you all a good night....
